I ended up making a birdcage veil with some help from my mom's friend and I loved the way it turned out!

Petals, you look stunning! Not everyone can pull off a birdcage veil, IMO, and you totally wore it with class and elegance! You remind me of an old-Hollywood glam movie star...

And I can't believe it was a DIY, either! I've seen veils like that costing into the hundreds of dollars -- awesome job!

I LOVE that birdcage veil! so unique and gorgeous!
My new cousin in law got married last year and her veil is trimmed with pearls and rhinestones. My other cousin borrowed that veil and just wore it for her wedding this past May, and I plan on borrowing it and wearing it for mine.
I guess I have my something borrowed! (I don't think I had that....)

And I'm getting a flower for my hair either from an Etsy seller or from haircomesthebride.com

Got a birdcage veil with a flower for the legal ceremony then wearing it in a pouf when we go out and party afterwards. Birdcage veil ivory or white by anikharchang on Etsy

Wearing an elbow length one for the real wedding ceremony, but taking it off during the reception.

When I tried on my dress my hair was pulled back, the seamstress put flowers on the side (towards the top) and then tucked a veil underneath my hair. It was similar to what Karla had...her pics are gorgeous!!!

i am not a veil or tiara kind of girl. i was thinking about wearing a flower, but i tried some beaded hair clips on and now i am leaning more towards that.
