veil or no veil-that is the question

Recommended Posts

I'm going for the cathedral length and a blusher but only for the ceremony. My mom said it'd make for great pictures and it really completed the look.

I haven't bought one yet because I can't justify spending EVEN MORE MONEY on something I'm only going to have on for 30 minutes!

I think this really depends on what you prefer. I didn't wnat a veil mainly because I knew we were getting married by the beach & it's windy so I didn't want to fuss with it the entire ceremony...I was so glad I made this decision but I also think it's how you vision yourself.

The tiara is small and not very big so it doesnâ€t look like too much on me and the veils actually look like one piece instead of two.

For the wind issue (which I heard Aruba has a lot of) I am getting that Hollywood wedding tape and taping the veil to me so it doesnâ€t blow around and stays where it should while I am wearing it. It is only staying on for the ceremony and half the pictures, but I donâ€t want to play around with it. I am only going to wear the tiara all night.
I LOVE HOLLYWOOD TAPE!!!!! It is the BEST STUFF EVER!!!! I thought about doing this as well!!! Let us know how it turns out!!!!

I got my veil on etsy, very reesonable!!!! I could justify spending the $150 that my bridal salon wanted for the veil I wanted. I found my Fingertip veil for $21 after shipping. I'm only wearing it for the ceremony and a few pictures.
Here is the link to a cathedral length veil from my seller :) .... Only $24!!!

I definitely will!! I used it during NYE when I was a bridesmaid and it kept the dress in place nicely.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
