My foster Elise went to her forever home today. I was proud of myself for fighting off the tears while they were still here. Her new mommy had me put her leash on her, and I put Elsie in her arms, she ended up putting her on the grass and when it was time to pick her up Elsie put her belly to the ground and then when the lady walked closer to her, she ran for our front door. :-((( Gosh, my house just doesn't feel the same without her here.

oh Tammy I knew it was this weekend but I couldn't remember what day it was. I would be so sad too, they look really excited to have her though, I hope they will be awesome parents to little Elsie!

You should be so proud to be apart of something so wonderful. Can you visit her?

Tammy I'm so sorry! At least she is going to a new family that will love her and you guys have the opportunity to help other animals. It takes a special person to so selflessly love these foster animals and offer not only your home but your heart. Big Hug!

You are so wonderful for taking care of her all this time & being able to let her go to her forever home now. I just had a little cry reading this. I completely feel for you!
