Hi Kathie, it looks like your travel dates are extremely close to DWbridetobe's wedding dates. Unless you live very close by to her to get her the starfish in time I'm not certain it would work... please PM her and work it out then let us know.

It was such a beautiful wedding and the clear starfish looked sooo cute and beautiful in the bouquet.  I had a small wedding with 17 people total, and there were a lot of laughs and smiles, and we all sweated our buns off on the rooftop of our resort for those 20 mins of ceremony, haha.  Interestingly enough though, I didn't find wearing a massive wedding dress any hotter than my bikini or sun dresses, and I'm so happy I went with a more traditional dress as it was really fun to wear.  I also dunked it in the jungle sink holes for a TTD but it looks exactly the same now that's it's dry, haha.

 

I sent the starfish off to Shoesiesluvr yesterday, so he should be in the hands of the next b2b by Sept 7th!  I'll miss you little buddy!!

Hi,

 

I can't speak for everyone (or even myself yet as I am still waiting for my June wedding), but it is basically a starfish bouquet jewel, and it gets passed on from DW bride to DW bride for each to share her wedding with.  These little guys have traveled to many destination weddings.  I believe many of them come with a journal that you can add to on your wedding day, a little about his journey and a little about how you are feeling as you are about to become a Mrs.  Does anyone have anything else to add?

Your dates MIGHT be ok - I know that shosiesluvr is in California and DWbridetobe is in Canada. So please PM each of them and see if the shipping times will work out. Then just post here if everyone approves.

What peterpanpixiedust said is pretty bang on. We use them as our 'something borrowed' for our weddings. Such a unique and fabulous tradition.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
