Woot woot!! I just received the little guy!! he is missing a couple of rhinestones but other that its in pretty good condition. Im going to try and see if i have time to replace the missing ones.

 

Jackie...did you just dab on some hot glue and stick the pin in??? lol im just trying to make sure i got this haha

 

another thing i did receive futuremrsjrj PM to be added to the list...i am going to assume that 9 days is enough to get from me to her...I let her know this so ultimately the decision is up to her.

I didn't have small enough rhinestones to replace the edge ones, I just wanted to make sure I replaced some of the massive ones in the middle.  When you take a pic of it, you can't tell at all that the edge ones are missing.

 

I used some crazy glue and used tweezers to put the rhinestones in, a few fell on the floor so it was frustrating, but worth it, haha.

For the back, yes, just dab on some hot glue and stick the stick in!  It held up to Cancun and back for me w/ no problems and didn't need to be babied, but I didn't know how it would travel by mail.

 

Here's a photo I took of it right before I sent it off.  Notice you can't see the rhinestone gaps?

I've known I wanted to be a part of this adorable tradition for awhile, but haven't actually done anything about it. So I figure it's about time I get my name on the list before it's too late   I'd love to be a part of the 'dc22173's CLEAR starfish line-up'! My travel dates are April 30th thru May 9th, and we'll be in Turks and Caicos at Beaches resort. I'f I'm looking at the list right, I think there is time between Teira and Susanna in April and June, but just let me know. I promise to take good care of him!!

Please remember that this tradition relies on the honor system. We trust and have faith that every bride that has chosen to participate will do so responsibly and effectively. If you are unable to fulfill the rules of passing along the starfish and the journal please do not participate and allow someone else the opportunity to.
