Starfish Passing Thread

Recommended Posts

I am picking up my starfish next week - antique looking brushed metal with rhinestones and pale pink pearls. Use to be a broach but I am getting it altered to put in my bouquet :)

I'll post a pic on my planning thread next week!

Well..he made it to Punta Cana and back safely! Jackie_C I'll be mailing him to you next week! :) Here's a pic of him in my bouquet next to a piece of lace shaped into a rose that was a present from my Great Grandfather to my Great Grandmother in the very early 1900's! So glad I was able to be a part of this special tradition!

What a beautiful picture!! Your bouquet looks beautiful and the lace piece is stunning, and so sentimental. I'm excited to receive the starfish. Hopefully you got my address change that I PM'd you. Congrats on becoming a MRS!

Ladies it is with deep regret that I have to inform you that my little blue starfish seems to have gone MIA. The last person to have had him is JenB. Both Janelley 100 and I have tried to reach her and request that the starfish be forwarded. However neither of us was able to reach her. DestCabo10 you can continue to try to reach her. But as of right now I have no idea what has happened to him. I am sorry ladies I had hoped to get my little book filled with wonderful stories, for me to read upon it;s return. It is a shame that the travels of my little guy has been cut short. Hopefully he will magically be found and returned to circulation. If possible I wold love to have him returned to me. I hope that you will be able to get on another thread.

Oh, that's so sad. He must be so lonely! I fear one day someone is going to take him and write a book or make a movie about it. Such a great tradition, but you deserve to get him back. Maybe if you do find him you should set a retire date, so this doesn't keep happening to you. I'll keep your little guy in my thoughts!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
