Thank everyone. I am truly open to helping anyone with theirs.

The initial planning (which means trying to figure everything out, I am so not computer literate) took me days until I was so over it.smile41.gif

Then once I got the hang of it, it took me:

2 hours to print and put everyones name on their own template which was a total of around 80 invites x 3 boarding passes, so not bad.

2 hours to cut them apart (used a great trimmer from Staples or go to Kinkos do it for free)

45 min. to do all the rounded corners and detail cutting

45 min. to do all the envelopes (go to microsoft word, help, type in envelopes and there is a template you can type on and then just put your envelopes in the printer and you are done. I will post a picture of my envelopes)

I haven't completed all the grommets but I am going to assume they won't take that long.

So all in all, after I knew what I was doing probably about a total of 8 hours when all is said and done.

Again I am open to assisting anyone who needs it. I loved that I had all the template info and details on how to from this site, which helped me a ton. If you actually just need me to do them for you I can let you know the cost. Otherwise I don't mind helping you for free. I would actually enjoy it.

I currently left my job so I have a little time on my hands this month, until I start a new job. So let me know.

Cheers

Kathy

I am only ahead of the game because I really have nothing else to think about. We booked our coordinator and photographer and I was so excited I wanted something to do. We also have our first RSVP request due by July 9th, so we can get a rough estimate to budget our wedding off of.

Don't worry you aren't behind. I am just a crazy planner. I want to not think about wedding stuff for the next 4 months after my STD's are sent out next week.

Cheers

Is there any way you could send me the templates? LuvGrand@aol.com
I haven't seen the original forum that said how to do that. Those are SO cute. I have plenty of time to do mine. I won't be getting married until next April but I figured I should at least get the idea now so I don't have to stress about it until later.

The colors you chose look awesome together and I can't believe you were able to do it all for so cheap! Ok, so I must admit, you have given me some inspiration to try and do this on my own! I have a couple of templates saved already but would you be willing to share yours as well? Also i will definitely have to hit you up with questions as i get into the nitty gritty of doing mine!

GREAT JOB!

Thanks again ladies. I will post my template with detailed instructions tomorrow.

The color theme was built on the idea we wanted our colors to represent a Mexican Fiesta, so our wedding colors are Hot Pink, Aqua, Lime Green and Tangerine. Of course some of them will be down played, like the Lime Green. I didn't want to be traditional and only choose 2 colors and I didn't want them to feel like a formal indoor wedding, I wanted it to feel bright, fun and full of life. Our flowers are Gerbera daisies, so I am excited to see Dazzling Details create our dream wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
