Okay first I want to thank all of you for sharing your templates, I honestly would have ripped my hair out either trying to make my own or paying $600 for STDs at a print store. Thank you Thank you Thank you... I have been waiting for the day to post mine. Here they are. I will give some details at the bottom. Oh and FYI I am totally open to doing anyones STDs if they need it done, I loved doing it.

Here they are before I mounted them all together. I did 3 passes STD, Detail info and Accommodations (I was going to do 4, but with 3 passes it was only 1 piece of 81/2 x 11 for each invite)

This is what they looked like when I mounted them all together. I attached all passes to 1 piece of Hot Pink 80lbs card stock (this is the first one I did, the others the pink card stock is a little larger)

Here is the finished product. I used dutch felt cream 80lbs card stock on the boarding passes (i perferred this over plain card stock, it just felt good when you touched it, like an invite) I used a grommet to attach all 4 pieces of card stock and ribbon for decor. Oh I used a laser printer (thanks work:)

I had additional supplies left and by friend wanted to throw a little engagement party so I used the rest to make invitations to the party.

I am going to keep the same theme for the wedding invites and welcome packet letter, but make the invites more formal.

Again thanks to all of you and this amazing site.

You all ROCK!!!smile159.gif

Sorry I didn't realize the pictures would turn out so large. I need to work on my resizing skills.

I also wanted to point out something I thought added a personal touch. Under Passenger Info on the top right hand side I personalized all passes with the guests name. I think little details like this are important, especially when asking people to travel so far for a wedding.

Also here is what I spent to make 90 invites

2 -50 pack dutch felt paper $22 (paperpresentation)

1 - 75 pack 3/16 grommets $3.75

2 - 50 pack dutch felt envelopes $30

Pink card stock was free (The Container Store had it has their window display and they gave it all to me, score)

Tools to attach grommets $18

Stamps (not sure sending them Monday)

Printing (free thanks to work:)

Corner cutter (creative memories, free gift from my sister)

Trimmer to cut invites (free, thanks work)

Fonts (free dafonts.com)

BDW ladies (priceless)

Total $73.75

I just want to let you all know I worked 2 nights until 11pm doing this after hours. It took sometime but was worth it.

BDW Rocks!!!smile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
