Dreams Cancun Contract Options

Recommended Posts

OK I know there are a million Dreams Cancun threads... But I didn't know if anyone else was having as much trouble as me filling out this damn contract. For those of you that are having the Gold dinner which entree did you pick? Actually what everything did you pick? If I choose the silver do I get to feed more than 20 people?

From what our experienced DC brides have told us, a lot of the contract is finalized when you get there. They just need some of the minor details. Yes you can feed more then 20 people there is just a per person charge for over the 20 depending om which menu it is you choose. We have not chosen a specific menu yet but I think we are leaning towards the surf and turf.

I'm wondering about the Dreams Salad too!

And I also think it's weird that the Gold and Silver menus seem to be priced the same (according to the website). And this goes for cocktail hour too! It would be great if you could save some money or feed more people as part of your package if you picked the silver menu... as it stands now I don't know why you would want to...

I know! I hope someone that has been there will read this and fill us in. Where are you guys having the cocktail hour? I was thinking the Garden then the terrace for the reception. What about the cake? I think I might go with Chocolate!! lol... But I haven't picked a design yet.

Well lol I've had to pick my menu already lol and there is a difference between the silver and the gold prices.

If you go over 20 on either you pay per person, I know this because they tried to charge me for an extra 7 people I wasn't having lol!

Apparently there are new menus out which is what I got sent and its mainly sea food, so the kids and certainly me will not be eating it lol I think we may have to ditch it otherwise big big waste of cash!

Thing is I don't know if the menu only changed for next year or whether it was this year 2 sorry!

Pisses me off that I have to pick ONE menu a year in advance but hey one more thing to add to the ever growing list lmao smile124.gif

The dreams salad is sort of like a caesar salad, but I wouldn't really say its a salad, it was more like one leaf, It was more decorative than anything.

We had the surf & turf for dinner, it was delicious!

the per person charge is different depending if you choose gold or silver, but with the package its still 20 people.

And yes, you can get a chocolate cake.

I think I answered everything, but let me know if you have more questions.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
