I'm going to try adjusting the white balance like j-m suggested. But, I had trouble opening it last night.

thanks! I recently got photoshop CS3 so I'm still learning. I have been using photoshop elements for a while, but I am just started in scratch the surface of what all photoshop can do.

there is a free online version called photoshop express. I suggest starting off with something like express or elements before buying the full version. it's expensive & really takes time to learn. You can get a cheap copy of elements on ebay. You can do so much with elements. All the stuff I did to tammy's picture so far can be done with elements.
