I will for sure do my best to go... I REALLY want to!! And I'll let you guys know how it goes. :)

According to the website.. it seems to be around $95 per person to go.. and they mention that it's a 9 hour excursion if you are in Punta Cana.

Hey ladies, my gf's and I did this a few weeks ago. Yes we booked it at the resort but it was throught Coco tours which I would not at all reccommend. We felt a little mislead. It took about 1hr 45 minutes to get to a speed boat to take us to the sand bar where you swim and find starfish. The starfish are not as easily found as you would hope. Every now and then someone would find one and everyone would gather around for pics. Well our speed boat kept breaking down and we had to keep getting jump started by other boats batteries. Once we made it to Saona Island it was gorgeous. But you really get hassled about buying jewelry, coconuts and coconut oil, and getting massages. As long as you keep saying no and dont mind the constant harassment you are fine. The water is an amazing color and so is the sand. The buffett was not very good and the "open bar" included rum punch which they ran out of , rum and coke, and beer. The catamaran ride back was very nice and relaxing. If I remember correctly it was about $75 per person. Hope this helps let me know if you have other questions.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
