I read somewhere that you can spray Febreeze on them and it will help with the smell.

Thanks Danielle, all went ok but I am in tons of pain today. If I had the time to take I would've taken today off too.

Didnt get my cake cutter dropped off to be engraved but I did get my shoes dropped off to me dyed, its like a light blue.

Jessica - where did you get your starfish from? I'm debating on ordering some to put on the programs.

I bought them at: Sand Dollars, Starfish and Seashells. They came super fast. I didnt get a chance to wash them today and maybe Febreeze them bc it was 95 degress today and muggy as heck. Hopefully tomorrow I will do it even though the weather will be the same.

I just reading through the posts to see when you guys sent out your invites....have all o fyou already sent them out? And it looks like most of you gave 6 weeks for a response? Is that standard?

I was planning to send them out the first week of July, but now I'm thinking I need to get on things and send them out earlier! Yikes!

So, I had food poisoning or a stomach virus or something, and I'm finally keeping food down, but I am drastically dehydrated. FI drank the last of the gatorade yesterday, so I sent him out to get some more. He, of course, came home with a 1 gallon jug that I don't imagine we'll ever finish. The thing is huge!

But I just got up to pour another cup and the expiration date is November 22, 2008. That's 7 days after my wedding date.

1) I'm freaked out that a refrigerated product for consumption lasts that long, but 2) I cannot believe that my wedding date is so close that there is a perishable food item in my house that expires around that time! Holy crud!

Haha Opice that is funny!! And so true :) To answer your question I haven't sent out my invites yet. I know if i send them out now they will just get forgotten and no one will respond to them. I think my plan is to send them out July 1st or so and put the RSVP date by Sept 1st? Or something to that effect.. maybe August 15th.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
