OOOohhh Michelle - I LOVE getting stuff! YAY for your lamps! smile159.gif

Amy - How sweet - a gift to the spa! Sounds like a great time.

Danielle - when you mentioned your ring - how are they fixing your ring?

I went last night and picked up my wedding band and they were out of ring boxes (WTF??..I know) - she gave me a pouch and I didn't feel secure with it so I wore it out of the store.

Then we went to Hobby Lobby and I noticed that it kept swirling around on my finger. I am going to have to take it back and have them attached or something so the band doesn't swirl. It has diamonds along the front side and is gold in the back (I hope that makes sense)

SO - the kids and I went to Hobby Lobby and I found a glass bottle for our sand ceremony. It was $4.99 and was 50% off! It was the only one there so I think it was meant for me! They had sand too for $2 a container. I am sure I'll have some left over so if you guys want any I'll give it to you.

We got teal, white and brown. We are going to use some of the sand from the beach in PV so we have our 4 colors for the 4 of us. YAY - Sand ceremony ensemble - total cost $11.00!

What a great deal on the sand ceremony stuff.

My ering is kind of weird shaped, it's a princess cut stone with two heart diamonds on each side but the hearts are two different sizes. So when trying on wedding bands they never really fit well with it so the jeweler is going to make a band to fit around my ering. He borrowed my ring so he could design the band to fit properly. right now he's working on a mold of the band so i can see that first before he makes the actual band. I'm trying to be patient. The jeweler doesn't work very much because he's recovering from cancer but I miss my ering!

Yeah, we haven't really decided if we will stay in the same room the night before the wedding or not. I think our hotel is supposed to offer an extra room for the groom to stay in if there is one available. I think it may be nice to wake up have breakfast together and then go on about our days getting ready. FI doesn't snore so not worried about getting good nights sleep :)

Amy - your party sounds like it was a lot of fun! The GC to the spa would be wonderful.

Celina - What a great deal for the sand ceremony. What shape is the bottle? Does it have a cork? Or a lid?

I can't wait until you get your camera fixed so we can see lots of pics of all your stuff! LOL

Danielle - How long has it been now since he has had your ring? Once the mold is done, do you get your ering back?

Steph - When you wrote that you weren't sure what to call your FI/DH, I had to giggle a bit, and then I started wondering about that too. Do I call Larry my DH after tomorrow? Or would I still consider him my FI? Although we will be legalling married here tomorrow, we aren't having our wedding until Nov! Hmmmmm....

2 months is scarey!!! So soon. He's had my ring for 3 weeks now. I do get it back when he's done with the mold. I think fi is going to give him a call, he likes when i'm wearing my ring he's very proud of it. lol

I started on some projects last night. I have my packing brochure pretty much done. I'm just not sure if i should add some color to it. I started burning CD's for my departure gift bags and i made the labels for the CDs last night. I also starting to work on placecards and luggage tags. I'm only doing luggage tags for some people. I got Becks leftovers and i dont' feel like buying anymore. So i only have 20 so i'll make some for me and fi and immediate family members.

Erica, I am so excited for you!! Have fun tommorrow!! I will be thinking about you!! Enjoy your day!!!

Danielle, I love the luggage tags but dont want to mail them out ahead of time, are you doing that or are you putting them in OOT bags or how are you doing it?

We're handing out our OOT bags before we leave, sort of like a departure gift bag. fi really didn't want to lug all the stuff done and i really wanted to do oot bags so that was our compromise.

I think you could definately just put them in the oot bags and people could use them on their way home.

I still call Joe my FI even after our legal wedding. Because for us we're not really married until Mexico.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
