So the lining is done on my TTD dress, and now she is downstairs sewing the chiffon on it. All the material for the dress cost a total of $44! That is so insane.

While I am typing here, I am also dancing to Raffi!!!! When I was little, I had a Raffi record, and now my Mom got the kids the same one but on CD! "Down by the bay....."

Yeah! - and $45 dollars is a STEAL!! Your mom is awesome! I am excited to see the dress! Erica have we seen the finished beading yet and your daughters dress?

Well- really quick....

I'm here at work for a minute to wrap some things up for the snow plow drivers. I stopped at Starbucks for a Pumpkin Spice Latte in honor of my girl Yari! (quick shout-out) I've been here since 6am.

First - did you guys see Tara's planning thread? Our girl has been hiding some pics from us! Everything is SO beautiful! Her dress...the rings...everything!

Second - my seamstress called me and said that my dress was done on Tuesday but the other item I had her altering isn't done. I haven't decided yet if I am going to go to pick it up or not because it's raining/drizzling/snowing here today and tomorrow AND she is 45 minutes away- so the dress bag may not get to you Tara till next weekend. I'm sorry! She said she forgot to call me during the week to let me know. UGH!smile105.gif

Danielle - have an awesome day today! I am so glad the weather is changing here -I'm going to enjoy Puerto Vallarta that much more!!

Have a great weekend!

My blumeboxes for the centerpieces (I also got 2 taller pink ones for the BM bouquets and a green one for mine). I think I might leave them without the ribbon, what do you think?

My fans (the green ribbon on the vase above is what I tried wrapping the handle with, but I couldn't get it to work so I'm leaving them as is):

Well, I went for my hair trial today and I didn't really care for it. I came home and tried to mess with it some but I'm just not sure..even tried it on with my dress :) I'm just not used to wearing my hair up I think so I'm thinking of trying a partially up hairdo if that makes sensehuh.gif I already made an appt for another place next weekend..ha Hopefully I won't have to try something every weekend until the wedding!!!

Greg is gone on his bachelor party weekend so tonight I'm trying out this new wine bar with a couple of friends. Right now I'm going to do a little shopping, go get some pumpkins, more halloween decorations and then hit the gym. My bad hair day kind of put me in a dismal mood so hoping to lift the spirits. Oct 25th is my shower so the weekends are starting to get busy!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
