Steph that sounds like a cool job!!

Michelle - if you need any help with AZ things at all PLEASE email me!! I think you have my email address, if not I can PM it to you. I know how hard it is looking for a place to live when you're so far away! Or if you want me to drive by places and take pictures, whatever, you just let me know - I'd be more than happy to do it!

Celina, when are you coming here? We need to get together! Especially since it didn't work out for us in PV

Ugh, we're painting our 2nd bathroom... for the 3rd time now. We can't pick a color to save our lives!

first we picked out a really light ice blue. But it looked too white against, so then we decided to go with a fun, bright bathroom, and we painted the bathroom aqua. LIke bright a** aqua. Hate it. Now we picked out a blue/gray color.. but it may be too dark. We shall see. We seriously suck at picking paint colors!

Thanks Tara, I may just take you up on that offer. I think we are going to go ahead and book our AZ trip soon. Things on the job front are looking up for both Mike and I. I was just assigned to a new group this week (one that I have no experience with!) and it seems like they will be keeping me busy for awhile which is good. Mike might be able to get a promotional opportunity and there are more openings in AZ at that level than his current. Our move may just end up working out as initially planned so I'm feeling a lot better about moving forward. I tend to overanalyze situations, especially when it comes to spending lots of money, and freaked out for a moment.

I think I am the oddball here, I love to pick paint colors and paint! That is the one thing I am looking forward to once we get in our new place. We were able to paint our current place, but we kept it pretty neutral so we wouldn't have to change it. I can't wait to be able to be a little more creative with colors.

Hey there everyone! I am back and everything went really well aside from the night before the wedding of course. Looks like people are keeping busy now that wedding prep is done.

Celina - That really sucks about both the photographer and your ATR!!!

Tara - Hope you like the colour of your bathroom this time!! LOL!

Stephanie - Good luck with the new job!!

Well I got our wedding pics from Severine and they turned out so great!!! I'm not one to like pics of myself, but I like these ones. We got all our pics plus extra TTD pics (96 instead of 30), we got our video, DVD slide show, DVD of pics, our album and our painting. When she was coming to give us the rest of our stuff on Thurs before we left, she passed the painter and he gave her the painting to bring us!!! We picked up our comp yesterday and it still doesn't work, so I may borrow my Mom's laptop to do my pics and everything.

Oh Steph, that is awesome! I'm sure they are glad to have someone with your background dispatching. Congratulations!

Eeeek! That is exciting Erica! Can't wait to see pics!

Tara, we plan on going out the last week of March. I hope the weather is nice and gas prices are somewhat low so we can drive. I think it's a 13 hour drive from Denver. I want some of that Arizona heat right now, it's 15 below zero!

Good luck with the paint! I still haven't started!

Hey guys,

We made it back and everything went great!! Sorry I haven't been on here until now but everything has been so crazy. We came back Dec 3rd and the next day Greg's grandmother passed away so we had funeral arrangements all weekend and company (along with doing 50 loads of laundry) Because I also went right back to work that Thursday and Friday. So then we are busy with getting ready for the holidays it's all coming up so fast we had to shop and decorate and wrap, bake, xmas parties...etc..ha I don't feel like we've had a day off since we got back. But my pics are up on our website if you want to see them. Greg & Amy's Wedding Site Just click on the pics from Mexico link. We just used the hotel photographer and I think he did an excellent job! We were very pleased.

Sorry but I don't even have time to read thru these posts so I hope everyone is doing great!! Happy Holidays!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
