Celina: i bet it is not as bad as you think. deep breaths... i wish we could all be there for your support too. are you able to go back to the seamstress at all? Maybe its as simple as letting out some stitches and a small alteration? And you are too cute with the care package you sent to Tara!!

I've almost got all my luggage tags done, so I will post a pic as soon as they are. so many of our guests have moved in the last year, I've been tracking down their current addresses.

I've almost done my newsletter too, which I'll send out this week to everyone so they can check any last minute stuff they'll need. I'm putting a packing list, some background info on Dominican Republic and a rough schedule for the week (rehearsal dinner, meet n greet brunch, wedding day!, flight times). I hope they like it! I'll post pics of it too.

I think I have most of the stuff for my welcome bags too, but I keep forgetting to pick up some Shout Wipes when I am out. Maybe I'll actually make a list. Anyone know where I can find the mosquito repellent wipes in Canada? Should i try Canadian Tire or Wal-Mart?
I bought the OFF wipes at Target on clearance. I'm sure Wal-Mart would have them. Check the travel section or clearance racks. They had all the bug reppellent stuff in the seasonal section at Target when they were full price. I only bought two boxes, but if I had extras I would send some to you.

Haha.. thanks ladies for all the comments on my bachelorette. Each girl who came had to draw her own penis, and then later on we played pin the penis on the naked dude and threading the weiner penis through the bottle. It was pretty hilarious I gotta say.

And ya, some of the "things" I had to get on my scavenger hunt were interesting. I didn't get them all, cause some were just too hard. But we tried! And a couple were disgusting so those didn't get done.. heh.

Lisa just let me know about the hibiscus stuff. If you need it, its yours. Those were some of the funniest bachlorette pics i've seen. I like the smiley face penis the best lol

Celina the gifts you sent Tara were soooo cute. Very sweet of you. I hope you find a really great dress at Davids or your dress gets fixed. Goodluck

Steph glad you had fun at your shower and bachlorette party.

Chika- i just did my welcome booklets for my guests last week. I'm getting married in Punta Cana if you want to look at it pm me your email and i'll forward the file to you.

Michelle - Maggianos sounds like fun. I've never been there but always want to go. Have fun.

Well...I'm back and no luck!

They didn' thave very many dresses. The ones they did have were HEAVY ball gown type dresses that werent what I wanted.

SO - no luck. I am bummed, but on the way home was thinking that I would call the seamstress again and see what she says. The thing is, she is really good. I've seen her work and she has done a great job on what I've seen. The thing is, I want my cleavage back!!!

I left her a voice mail and will wait to see what she says. She sews pretty quick, so hopefully I can go over tomorrow night and we can see what can be done and we can get this done by this weekend. I'm hoping she can do something. I knew my $16 alterations were too good to be true!

Michelle - Magiannos is yummy! Have a wonderful time!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
