Hola chicas!!

 

As far as tanning goes I think I'm going to start today. I have a pretty decent tan left from summer but mostly on arms..I'm not real pale complected as it is. But I want to get a good base for Mexico so I don't fry and I probably will try to stay out of the sun as much before the wedding so I don't have crazy tan lines. There is a place right by our gym so we plan to go there. They have the crazy high pressure beds, but FI needs them because he burns very easily.

I'm having a shower end of this month so getting excited about that. Just working on going to the gym. Yesterday I went through a bunch of songs on my ipod (I have over 3000) and started a playlist for Mexico. Of course FI gets home and he starts putting in his two cents and before you know it I have AC/DC and Metallica on there!! LOL..oh well..I like the songs too but you know the girls will be the ones doing all the dancing! We want dance music..who hoo!! I was cracking up at all the oldies but goodies on my playlist. Rumpshaker..whew hoo!!

We have some Italian music in our lists for Mike's parents. We're still trying to decide on father/daughter and mother/son songs. I have the father/daughter narrowed down to 2, but Mike's song has to be Italian. We are having a hard time finding a song that makes sense that is not super long. I'm really not much help since I don't understand much Italian! We have some songs for the cocktail hour, but I think we are going to see what the DJ comes up with for our reception mix since we'll probably have extra songs that can just be moved to the cocktail hour mix.

Tara-Your booklets came out really cute! I love the starfish thingys.

 

I picked up my headpiece/headband. I will see how it looks with my hair done, but I don't think I am going to wear it. I did my trial program, and had to adjust the spacing a bit, but am printing them out as we speak. It is going to take forever to cut them out though. That is my project for today. I also got two little baskets in the Target dollar section. One is round for the bubbles, and one is square for the programs. I figured we could put them in there and set them up on a table. Then I will just tuck the fans in the chair bows. My dress fitting got rescheduled yesterday (the lady had a family emergency) so I am going next Saturday instead. I also got the first aid kits for the OOT bags, and I also got travel size tissues. I haven't decided if I will throw them in the OOT bags, or make tears of joy packets. I also discovered I could tie the personalized ribbon that I didn't know what to do with around one of the handles of the OOT bags so now I don't have to make hang tags. Oh and I lost a pound! Yay! It has been a productive weekend, hope all is well with you ladies!

I got a clear crystal. They shipped on Sat. so I can't wait to see how they look! I don't think I'm going to wear a necklace..we'll see though. I may get a bracelet. What are you guys wearing??

 

oh also, are you guys all legally married yet?? or are you doing a legal ceremony at your destination?? We are getting legally married on Oct 31st. Halloween!! I think anyways..waiting to see if they do them that day. Seeing as we are getting married on Thanksgiving we want to keep it in with the holidays.. ha

I am not doing an IPOD playlist, we have a DJ so I can grab what we told him we wanted to play and pass that on soon.

 

I am heading off in a few to go start tanning. Holy crap that means the time is near!! Woohoo!!
