OMG Tara, that is hillarious! I do the exact same thing though. I feel like I put on enough make up, but in pics I look horrible. My headshot for work is HORRIBLE!! I look totally wiped out!

WOO HOO!! That TOTALLY ROCKS!!

Michelle - I would go pick up that kid and take him yourself. You may have to hit the clearance aisles at ROSS or TJ Max or some place like that to find some summer stuff, but you should be able to find something. What a PITA for you! If you can't take him yourself, maybe just do what Erica suggested. If you can't find shorts, maybe look for some khaki pants and you may have to cut off half the leg and just make them into shorts.

I hope something works out for you.

Chiquita - I am SO excited for you and Jayson that his dad is able to make it. How wonderful! Enjoy this last month and enjoy your shower. That is awesome!

I've been swamped at work but I just logged on to see what you guys were doing. I'm taking off tomorrow cause I need a break!! Working 6 days a week for the past two months has gotten to me. I'm taking some work home to do over the weekend but at least I'll be home and not here.

I think that I am going to start more of my test packing today. Today is going to be the carry on bags.

My Mom was working lastnight and one of our co-workers that is coming was wondering about what all to pack. Mom asked her if her DH has swim trunks but he doesn't. Mom convinced her to buy him some swim trunks and a speedo. The swim trunks will be packed in her bag and the speedo in his. Mom is also giving him a thong to wear on the beach. This is sort of a initiation for any guys that travel somewhere tropical with my Mom. None of the guys that have ever got one has worn it on the beach, but they have all got one, even Larry!

Hi girls.. I'm going to try and log on at least once a day now that we are getting down to the nitty gritty here! Heh.

I emailed the lady at restaurant where we are having our reception and gave her my menu choices today.. and I think I ordered my wedding cake too. Just waiting for confirming emails :) So I was a bit productive!!

Tara - one month today! That is totally exciting for you :)

Okay that thong story is hiliarious! Haha!!

Danielle, I think I'm getting a marble cake with vanilla custard w/ passionfruit in the middle and chocolate buttercream frosting. I have no idea how all those different tastes will mix together, but I figure most people will be full from dinner to really care about the cake.. haha!

I actually did something wedding related last night. Woo hoo! FI and I called the DJ that we found that was willing to mix our wedding reception songs together. The music is FI's job so he just has to email him our list of songs (we already went through and created playlists on his ipod). He is going to do that tonight. It has been pretty slow at work so I'm hoping I will finish early today and can start working on my programs. I'm taking my sis for her FG dress fitting tomorrow and I also have a fitting. I assume I will have one more before I pick the dress up on Nov. 1. As long as I don't gain weight I should be good. I don't have anything planned on Sunday so I already planned to work on wedding projects that day, and hopefully get the rest of our wedding items packed, and maybe some of our clothes since it is cold here now. Are any of you going tanning before your trips? I normally don't like to, but I have this stupid tan on my chest from when I got really burnt at the beginning of summer. I was wearing a tank top underneath a vneck neckline dress so I have this squared shape tan line which is really noticeable with my dress since it is vneck. I was hoping it would even out or at least fade more than it has by now, but it really hasn't. Maybe I will put sunscreen on that part when I go to the tanning bed so the rest of my skin gets color. It looks so dumb, I don't know what else to do. I've been exfoliating, but that doesn't seem to be doing anything.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
