Thanks! I liked it and figured that it was a dress that I could take down to the Dominican to wear too!

Me and my best friend Erica (MOH) at the bar. This was 2 hours after being caught in a flash flood! My hair was a mess from getting out of the car twice in the rain! We had a good time!

Here's the back - I put an E on the back of both of ours as we are both changing our last names. It's kind of a symbolic thing for me and her.

Here's the huge tag for our OOT bags. I am going to tie them on the side of the bag where there is nothing embroidered. Aaaah...I just realized I don't have a pic of my OOT bags. I'll have to get you guys one. I thought they were too big, but everyone insisted I keep them. I ordered them from Vistaprint and thought they were smaller.

the flip flops came out great. What did you use to make the tears of joy packets? I like that idea.

what do you think is huge the oot bag or the luggage tags? If the luggage tags are the vista print standard postcards I think they would work fine. If they are a little big, they will be seen a lot better when people are looking for their luggage.

I think that is so sweet that your daughter is also changing her lastname. Now that we are legally married, some people have asked if I am changing my name, but I am waiting until after the DW.

Everything looks great Celena! The shoes, the tears of joy packets, the oversized luggage tags LOL and of course the food.

Thank you! For the Tears of joy packets I used trading card envelopes from oriental trading and Avery clear labels and just stuck them on. The envelopes don't have anything sticky on them to close so I used glue to close the envelope. I put three tissues from some Puffs travel size tissues in each envelope. I want to put them on the chairs with our program fans (which I forgot to take pics of too)

I am using the cards to tie onto the OOT bags (not luggage). Some of the bags have different stuff in them so I want to make sure people get the right bags. On the backside of the card it says "This bag was made with love for"...and there is a spot to write their name. Actually, I may just take a sheet of labels and stick them in the spot where their name is since I have horrible handwriting.

Thank you! Yes, she already calls herself Jada Ellis at school. I am having a hard time accepting the fact that I have to change my name. Boo hoo!

It is like both her and I are getting married. LOL! It was just her and I for 5 years before Shawn came into the picture. Now we are both taking the plunge! Jada and I have a very special bond. She is a total momma's girl!

Yours are Givenchy (or something like that) right? That's what these are. I got them at Dillards for $50.

Damn, we don't have Dillard's here. I will have to check out Von Maur, but I don't remember seeing the ones you have.

Yay pics! THe flip flops are really cute. I like the luggage tags. I have been wanting to do a postcard to include in our OOT bags with the photoshare website info on it, but haven't had a chance to work on that. Where did you get the pic that you used?

Tara - Love, love, love your earrings! I must head to Dillard's soon!

Erica - Love the flowers from your legal day! Especially the one in your hair!

We got invites out last week and 61 people have already booked. Holy crap!

We picked out wedding bands on Monday, too.

Other than that, I'm just trying to survive at work.

I hope all of you are doing well!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
