We don't have any special plans before the ceremony. It isn't until 7pm since my MOH has to work and getting off early she still has a 2 1/2 hour drive here from work. Afterwards we will probably go out for supper or something. We are only having the kids and our MOH and BM there. FBIL's FI was asking about the ceremony the other day since we are having it down by the creek at FBIL's place, and I had to nicely tell her they weren't invited. I told her there were 4 things we had to say, sign papers, and we weren't exchanging rings and that we were ONLY having MOH and BM there. Turns out she is a bit jealous because we are getting married down there first, since they want to get married down there. Too bad neither one of them are totally divorced yet though!!! fryingpan.gif

That sucks about your work load. Hopefully things calm down for you soon. Nothing like having to do your work as well as other people's work loads.
Yeah for sending your invites out!!!! At least you were able to get something accomplished that isn't work related! Is there a light at the end of the tunnel at work yet? Is there more people being hired on?

Erica, thats hilarious. How can she be jealous if neither one of them are even frickin' divorced yet? We are not bringing any one with us and we are going out for a nice meal after then going home and changing since being dressed up is not really our style then we will go out for drinks probably. I think we are ecstatic to have a day together. We meet with the judge at 1pm.

She asked why we didn't go get married in the park instead of down by the creek! I told her that Larry wanted to have the ceremony by the creek at his brothers so that is where we were going to have it. She thought that I was going to wear my wedding dress too and was surprised when I said that my wedding dress is for our wedding...in the Dominican. Larry told me the other day that his brother told him she was a little jealous. I think it is hilarious too!!! What some people let bother them!!

Have a great day tomorrow! The legal ceremony is so fast-literally 2 minutes. Ha ha! My FI and I did the same thing and went out to eat afterwards. It was so nice to have a whole day to hang out since we don't get to that due to our conflicting schedules.

So I will be heading over to my Mom's later today, so if I remember to take my camera I will take pics of my legal day dress and also the beading that we have done on the dresses so far.

 

Yesterday I was trying to clean out a bunch of old clothes and actually got a lot done. Still more to do today, but I am getting there. Geez we have a lot of clothes between the 4 of us! I also started packing some clothing items that I know that I probably won't use the rest of the summer but will take to the Dominican. I didn't pack them into the big suitcases, rather into Hailey's little carry on sized one that we used to take for her on trips. That means they aren't actually packed, but just put away so they can be packed at a later date! LMAO

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
