I'm going to do it but i haven't given it much thought until now. I wanted to order Vista Print postcards with the photoshare info on it.
I think I might use Shutterfly. I order pics from them all the time, and so do my family members. I haven't set it up yet though.

I'm glad I'm not the only loser that started packing. I just couldn't take the crap all over the floor anymore. Our place is too small as it is.

I absolutely cannot wait to go to Mexico. I'm excited for the wedding, but I will really need a nice, long vacation.

I haven't got anything actually packed yet, but I do have my packing list done, unless I think of something to add. I also have 2 of the carry-ons in the livingroom and the new big suitcase for our kids in the diningroom. Oh wait, I do have colouring books and markers packed in my daughters carryon already. We got a family pack thing of the color wonder colouring books and markers, so she picked two to put away for holidays.

I am cracking up over here! I can't believe you guys are packing. You are WAY beyond me. I haven't even put together a packing list!

Michelle - I LOVE LOVVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your jewelry. where did you buy it?

Danielle - I set up a special photobucket photo sharing account for our wedding guests. I'm sending them the link, log in and password, in their pretrip mailing. I really hope they upload photos.

On a random note, we got an email from 2 of Joe's cousins saying that they have booked their trip and were just wondering if we could tell them where Joe's parents were staying. UM..... you didn't RSVP!!! Thank god you emailed us! I love how people just don't RSVP and think they can show up!

When I mailed out our STD's one came back for my cousin's Rodney and Reagan. I didn't get to worried about as I figured I would get the right address for the invites. Well, as I was doing the invites, I was talking to my cousin's SIL (my cousin Richard's wife) since they were in the process from moving from the same town that I was trying to send the invites to, to my home town. They were going to get the right address for me or else take the invites up there for me, but it didn't end up happening. I did see Reagan at a family wedding in Jan and told him about it, and he said that he would give me a call and give me his address. Well, last week I finally called up there and talked to Rodney. I told him about the wedding plans and got their address. Then a couple days later Reagan called back. Well, they are both planning on coming down to the Dominican for the wedding. I am excited since they are my 2 closest cousins in age on my Mom's side. The next closest cousin is actually our oldest cousin's daughter who was supposed to be a BM but had to back out.

As for RSVP's, I got a few on facebook which wasn't actually an option, and only one person has answered through the website, and it was my coworkers husband saying "yes". I had a couple verbals from before we even sent out the invites, since I knew that they were coming, but no one else has. As I get word, or give up on them, I cross them off the list myself.

Erica that's great that your cousins are going.

I didn't do RSVP's because it would of drove me crazy waiting for people to send them back or reply online. Especially when most people know as soon as they get the invite they won't be able to go.

Michelle - just wanted to let you know that my parents stood me up last night so i ended up staying home and wasn't near a target. But my dad is going to have to meet me today or 2morrow before i go Bridezilla on his ass. And when he does i'll check out the target for the bags.

I got the jewelry at Von Maur. The necklace is by Monet and was $28, the earrings by Givenchy for $35. Givenchy had a lot of really pretty earrings, and there was actually another pair I liked better, but we couldn't find a necklace to match.

That is great that your cousins will be able to make it. I have two cousins on my mom's side that I really wanted to come. One just sent her RSVP that she can't make it, and I'm still waiting to hear from the other one. Most of my mom's family live in different states so I rarely see them. I was hoping having a destination wedding would get more of them to take a trip since even if we had a wedding at home it would require them to travel. I'm still waiting to hear from some of them, but most declined. I was disappointed, but also understand.

Danielle-No worries on the bags.

Isn't it cool when people who you don't expect to go, actually book a flight and go? That is too cool!

You guys are going to laugh at me... speaking of packing, I told my FMIL I have stuff in our luggage because I am running out of storage space. She said...just don't forget to pack your underwear!

I have to tell you guys this story....It is funny, gross and will never EVER happen again!

Last year on our site visit/vacation to Puerto Vallarta, I was so busy trying to make sure everyone was packed and had all of their stuff, I didn't pack any bras or shirts!

OMG - it is so funny...the night before we left, I had a small stack of my bras and shirts on a kitchen chair and was going to take them upstairs to put in my suitcase. Well, it was late and FI and daughter had long been to bed, and my son was wandering around the house, so I picked him up and carried him to bed. After putting him to bed I figured I would go to bed and just finish up in the morning. I never went back downstairs to get my clothes.

The next morning, FI got all of the luggage and took it downstairs put it in the car and I never put my clothes in it. I didn't realize it until we got to our hotel and I wanted to change clothes and realized I had no bras and only like 2 shirts! OMG...we spent 7 days in the hot ass Puerto Vallarta sun and it was miserable! You know how you get so sweaty and it's so muggy and damp??UUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!

It was SO NASTY!! By day 4 I sent my one and only bra to the cleaners. You may ask, well Celina...why didnt you go to the store to buy a new bra....ladies, I am VERY busty...like a DDD! I looked high and low for a bra and even bought a couple - the sizes there were only running up to a C cup. It was horrible! Thank goodness I took a couple of dresses and had a few t-shirts. I even wore my swiming suit cover up to dinner one night! It was the absolute worst thing ever!!

About a month ago, FI said that he was looking at restaurants in PV and found one in Bucieras and the store was located...."Next to the big girls bra shop"!! OMG!! We were supposed to go to Bucieras to go to a bakery and the taxi driver took us to another bakery instead.

So now the running joke is Celina packs her stuff FIRST! LOL! I am laughing about it now because it's funny, but when we were there - I did not think it was a joke or funny and I finally decided to just deal with it and enjoy myself.

When we got home I totally wanted to throw the bra in our firepit and have a bra burning fest!! - FI said, you better have that thing bronzed! That thing literally had your back all week! LOL!!

I swear, I am going to buy a dozen new bras before we leave and I am packing them in my bag as soon as I get them! hahahhaaa!!

Hahahaha - I am cracking up - no - I don't think they do!! LOL

All of the people who live there are small people. It is kind of funny! We even noticed that the beds were shorter. FI is like 5ft 7 and he said he felt like a big tall man. The people there are generally smaller. It is kind of funny now that I think of it.

I am not kidding... I was looking at sport bras and barely got them over my head!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
