good luck with the social worker. I still can't believe your sister.

I didn't know you could get a day pass at Sams! I'll definitely be heading there this weekend!

Has anyone started a count down to your wedding? I feel like it's too far out, but I've been saying that since day 1!!! And now here, we are, over a year after we became engaged and the time flew!! I know the next 4 months will fly too. So I wonder if an offical count down might keep me in check. I know glancing at my ticker always shocks me lately!

Whenever I look at my ticker I am amazed at how little time we actually have left. Of course I am the last day of the month, so I will be the last one from this thread to have my big day. With that said, I see everyone elses tickers here and know that mine is right behind!!!!

Hi girls!

Steph i hope the doc can finally help you out.

Well i haven't done any wedding planning in weeks now. I took another weekend off and went to the Jersey shore on Saturday.

I really need to get back into the swing of things. because i'm a little over 4 months out, i really should get some of the diy projects done like programs and welcome packets. I just dont' feel like doing anything right now. i need to snap out of it.

I hear you on that. Besides the dresses coming in and some of the OOT bag stuff coming in, I haven't done anything. We have to go find some new material for the BM dresses too, since the colour on my dress is more turquoise than teal, so that is actually one more thing to add to my list again. Oh well. I have 10 days off (so far!!) after tonight, so maybe I can get back into the swing of things too!

We haven't done a count down, but it's funny to see my FI getting concerned about stuff. I want to go look at wedding bands this weekend.

How long are you going to be in PV? Maybe we can meet up! We'll get there on Wednesday the 5th and will be staying through the 15th.

Danielle - I did my welcome packets at Vistaprint.com. and did brochures. They came out really nice and they were FREE! All I had to pay was shipping and for an upload of a map I included. They are professionally done and are folded just waiting to be put in an OOT bag! They came pretty quick too!

Hmm.. I got my wedding band a couple of weeks ago.. and did a couple of scrapbook pages for my BM's but other than that I haven't done much!

Next task will be getting the invitations ready to send out for beginning of July. I've got the boarding passes all done on the computer.. I think they just need a few tweaks.. I hope anyways!

We will be there until the 8th or 9th, I can't remember exactly. We should definitely meet up!!! That would be so fun!

On a vista print note, I did our STDs through them and was really happy with them.

Well - today I started the Sacred Heart Diet so we'll see how that goes!

Yesterday I went and ordered my veil and headband for my daughter. I got FI to agree to an AHR and it looks like we are going to have it at my dad's church and it will be a brunch reception .

I am waiting for my dad to confirm with his pastor and I am going to order the invites this weekend.

Other than that - that's my update for now!

Sounds like we are all making great progress. My guest book arrived from Welcome to the Guestbook Store! Guestbooks for Every Occasion! it is very cute. I am still working on the DIY flip flops,we got the style down we wanted now I am just making them. We got my sister's dress ordered over the weekend. and I think that is it.

Celina, let us know how that diet goes, I have been pondering doing it myself.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
