Yes - I found it in another city for 20% cheaper!! It was still a little more than what I wanted to spend, but the 20% helped me justify it!! I really do just love it!

Thanks! How is all of your stuff coming along? You recently got your dress too, didn't you?

That's awesome that you got it cheaper. It's beautiful. Great choice.

I didn't do anything this weekend for the wedding. I had to help with my sil's baby shower. But this weekend i will start doing things again. maybe start on the invitations. I got my dress in December, i found it on the sale rack, which is a shock for me because i never find anything on the sale rack in my whole entire life. So i got my cheaper too. I did just find my bm dresses, i have to make an appiontment to get the girls measured and order them. i'm going to call there this week to do that.

I love checking things off my list, don't you?!

What a cute dress! The bustle is cute! Great choice!

Danielle - yep - I like getting wedding stuff done too. Right now I am focusing on getting one thing done at a time. This past weekend was a bust for me too. The only thing I did wedding related was look at the new In Style Bridal magazine and am kicking myself for asking my FI, "Honey, what if you don't like my dress" His response..."Well, you don't have to wear it for that long." I asked, "So what do you mean by that?" He says, "You're going to change arent you? You're not wearing it for the reception are you? Don't you want to be comfortable?"

I could have killed him!voodoo.gif

Honestly, I almost cried. I feel like we are on two different planets when it comes to this wedding.

Some questions are better left unanswered.

Men! I actually had a semi fight with fi last week about what he was wearing the the wedding. We are having custom shirts done. they are linen with embroidery going down them. Well i want the gm to wear short sleeve white shirts with the turqoise embroidery and him a long sleeve shirt with the same embroidery. i told him he could roll up the sleeves to make them 3/4 which he used to wear his shirts like that all the time. especially in the summer when we would go out down the shore. He had the nerve to say to me, that he isn't wearing long sleeves. I was like wtf, i know plenty of guys that are wearing linen suits and you can't wear sleeves. i'm wearing a fricking gown. give me a greak. And when we go down to punta cana in nov, it's not even that hot, high is like 84 and the night time is like 76. which our wedding will be around 5. plus the shirt is linen so it's light anyway.

Oh and than we went to a Tommy Bahama store and he was looking at shirts, and he picked out a long sleeved shirt to wear on our trip. I was like hello? how can you wear that but not a wedding shirt. I think i "mistakingly" order him a long sleeve shirt. He just loves being a Pain in the A$$

You guys are killing me!

Opice: I love your dress, very hot! I wish I could pull that off.

Danielle: How was the shower? What do the BM dresses look like?

Celina: Note to self... dont ask FI about liking my dress. I mean seriously do these boys think we put on these fancy pants dresses for 20 minutes just for us?! Ugh! Good thing they are cute!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
