Congrats on finding the suit!! My FI is being difficult with his! He doesn't want anything too light because thinks he will look too pale and pastey and I don't want him to wear anything too dark because I wanted to keep the color the same as the groomsmen's pants (which is a tan/khaki color). We can't seem to find anything in the middle!

Hey Ladies;

Just checking in with you guys to see how's it going. I'm getting very nervous as the time is getting closer and closer. I feel like there is not just enough time in a day to do what I need to do. My entire wedding party, with the exception of my kids are out of town and sometimes I get NO help. Anyway, hope everyone's planning is coming along....bunny_4.gif

I feel ya.. I have had ZERO help. My wedding party all lives far away so they have no idea how much work I have been doing! smile105.gif I can't believe how close it is either. I am so excited. I have almost everything done. I am basically just finishing up the welcome letter and the OOT tags and placecards.
What do you have left?

I have the last dress fitting on 8/29. I have just completed sending all my thank you card for the recent briday showers. I'm packed and I have to pack my girls up too. I guess what is bothering me is that Septmember is such an overwhelming month for me. My son turns 18, My youngest turns 9, my bday is the 12(guess no will have the time or money for my BD) and I just feel like I got no support. smile105.gif

I think i'm missing just the little things but I just can't figure it all out. It's like a bluuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......gun.gif

I still need to finalize ceremony/vows with FI

finalize ceremony and reception songs and burn to CD

make table runners using hem tape

make photo dvd play during reception

i finally found my jewelry...last item is on the way from ebay

need to do programs still

need to book transport for guests from reception in Henderson, NV back to Vegas strip

FI needs to book our rental car

we need to finalize choice of our first dance song

shockingly we just booked our accommodations for the Oahu & Kauai honeymoon last week! but it worked out because prices dropped and we got a private rental home for the Oahu part of the trip for a steal at the last minute Waialae Iki Ridge Resort vacation rental in Honolulu

I picked up my dress this weekend

latest weight loss is 32 lbs! dress is looking great!

Got a corset in the mail from ebay....it is making my waist fabulous in the dress!

I finished an initial draft of the ceremony script ...adding on some things to what the pastor sent me...FI needs to review

Got my non-bridesmaids gifts

My shower is this weekend...they told me to pack an overnight bag and brings several outfits for different scenarios and I have no idea still where it is or what is going on!

Some delay on progress this weekend as we fell out over all the things I need help with not just for wedding but I've fallen behind on housework but he has been playing freakin Playstation with his cousin for multiple nights and not helping out at home or doing his wedding tasks. Friday, We got into it and both were like lets call it off and we told our moms and were packing his stuff (half of it is still piled up by the front door now). His uncle kidnapped him and gave him a good talking to and we made up and all is well again. Well until we start talking about the prenup I want and opening a joint account...then we are disagreeing again!

STRESS! I need to go for some of my spa treatments!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
