I just ordered a big lot of luggage locks off of ebay. There was a hundred of them I figured I would just sell the what I don't use. If any of you girls want some let me know... I should have around 40 left over. I already promised some of them to another girl. I don't know the quality of them but I should have them in the mail by the beginning of next week.
Thanks for the offer. I took your suggestion w/the deep breaths and this weekend FI and I went to the city and I found the perfect shoes. That is taking some of the stress off. Now I have to finish ordering the table decortations and start identifying outfits for the me and my girls.

I have a lot to do still.

Still need to get appraisals for and insure rings. Need to make a photo presentation to music to play during reception. Need to make music CDs for reception music. Need to book honeymoon hotel. Need to figure out what I am doing with my hair and makeup. Arrange for transportation for guests back to Vegas strip from Lake Las Vegas. Figure out my undergarments/girdle. Finalize plans with the pastor and finalize which vows we will use. Make a list of shots I want for the photographer. I don't have a bridal party but I need to find some gifts for friends who have helped me. And think of who will handle little things like giving tips, who will deal with vendors, how my things will get to and from the bridal changing suite at the chapel, etc. And of course lose more weight and send final payments. I'm sure there is more I am forgetting.

I desperately need to start confirming what I'm going to be doing for centerpieces and then start purchasing them!! For some reason this is the one thing I keep pushing back!! However, just in these two last weeks I got these completed: my OOT bags and goodies to put into them, got my FI's wedding band, my hair style has been confirmed and tested ( it's exactly what I wanted but now I hope the hotel's stylist can duplicate it!), the makeup I want to wear has been purchased, ordered flowers, and my FI's suit has been narrowed down to the one. I think that's pretty good for two weeks!

These next few weeks I'm going to try to get my starfish boutonnieres completed, complete my wedding/travel brochures and mail them out, purchase parent's gifts, of coarse brainstorm about the centerpieces, and get my butt to the gym to tone up as much as possible to start getting my alterations done to my dresssmile41.gif That's seems like a lot!!

I think I have figured out my centerpieces. I don't have pictures yet but I think I want to do vases with green seaglass at the bottom then put orange flowers in them and submerge them in water. Kinda like this.

Then put some bling on the table...

I have 42 people booked so far, so my WC said we will probably end up having 3 long tables. So, my plan is to have shells and starfish down the table runner and maybe a set of two centerpieces on each table. Those vases would look totally cute and they are compact enough where it wouldn't be a hassle traveling with them.

Can't wait to see pics of your final centerpiece idea, they are going to look great!

Damn 42?! So far, I think we have 24. There are a few that haven't decided yet so we may have 30. I am thinking long tables as well. I think it would have everyone more "involved". Most of our families and friends haven't met.

Ha Ha,42 is a lot! We thought we were only going to have about 20-30 guests and that's what we had budgeted for. We are actually going to end up with a few more because some of my FIs single friends are booking last minute because they are attempting find dates firsthuh02.gif

So, not only will I have more guests, but guests that I probably won't ever see again (because those friends of his date a different girl every month!) and now we have to spend extra money on the wedding to fit them in! Oh well, I guess the more the merrier, right?!

I agree with you on the long tables, I like how everyone gets to mingle together and it will be a great way for the family and friends to really get to know eachother there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
