REHEARSAL DINNER AT BAJA CANTINA
Taco bar $21 pp
OPEN DOMESTIC BAR 2 HOURS $25ppBar
15% WAITERS SERVICE
10% TAX
Maye Cortinas also told me $650/bonfire... Christa - you may want to check to make sure they're going to have them for you! Or maybe it's a new policy that they're telling new clients...

I asked the specific question of her a few weeks ago because a few of you had mentioned this. Her response was to forward me her invoice for all of the items she's taking care of for me, including the rehearsal dinner. There is no $650 charge...

Lucky lady!!!! I think it might be a new policy because I don't remember anyone ever mentioning this extra fee a few months ago when people were using them. Oh well... no bonfire for $650 for me sad.gif

We had our welcome dinner there on 12-11-08. It was amazing! We got so many compliments on the event. We had a cocktail hour on the beach with open bar and then moved up to the terrace for dinner. The beach is set-up with lounge furniture that is really cool - white couchs, back-lit black and white tables, rugs, etc. The ambiance is really great and the food was so good. I would totally recommend this restuarant. We payed $28/person for 2 hours of open bar ($16/person for 2 hours of non-alcoholic open bar) and $30/person for the chicken fajitas with salad, rice, veggies, beans, chips & salsa and dessert.

=) Kristen

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
