Flight date CHANGED!!

Recommended Posts

that stinks, but not a whole lot different from all the airline trouble we are currently having, I mean you never know if your airline will have gone bankrupt or canceled your flight.

ugh, that sucks!!! we had the same problem. our ta told us that all flights were cancelled that day, but that's probably b/c she's a moron. (sorry, little ta rant there).

we opted to leave a day earlier - although it meant paying for an extra night at the hotel, it was totally worth it to have peace of mind as far as time. is it possible to leave a day earlier?

Thanks for all the support.

Dragonfly is right...i'm from Toronto and when we book here we get one price for airfare and hotel. We don't pay for them seperately. The tour operator that we were flying out with was Air Transat. I could kill them right now. voodoo.gif

My TA is trying to find another flight for an earlier day but since there aren't any flights whatsoever close to the 19th with anyone than we really don't have much option. i think there might be a flight leaving on the 17th, but that would mean that my guests would have to leave the morning after the wedding which i don't really want. I'll just have to suck it up and hope that the resort still has the restaurant i want for another day that week.

We have switched tour operators on the advice of my TA as sunquest is offering a whole bunch of free stuff for booking with them and since i have to leave on the 21st anyway, i might as well get some free stuff. Their offer is on board gift bags for all the kids, advanced boarding, a $300.00 discount per couple for their next vacation, and a 3 pcs heys luggage set (pretty cool).

Let's keep our fingers crossed that the resort will accommodate my date change without any problems. I'll keep you posted.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
