ROR locations for nuptuals...

Recommended Posts

I have seen the beach location (with archways) and the gazebo by the pond, surrounded by grass... but thought I saw what appeared to be a pier of sorts, with a gazebo - out by the sea. Was I dreaming?! Or can one have the ceremony there?

My concern is walking in the sand... want to do the beach but not wanting to do bare feet (!) I also saw what appeared to be an aisle runner, ON the sand. Am I correct in assuming that this still wouldn't be a great option, if wearing heels...huh.gif

Are these 3 (?) locations the only ones available?

Any photographs of the pier/gazebo location would be very much appreciated!

There are three locations at ROR. The beach gazebo, on the beach with an arch, or the pond gazebo. There are so many pictures on this forum of all of them. We got married on the beach and upgraded to the bamboo hopa(?) with the white tool on it. We were all bare foot. We did not get the aisle runner but they do have that as an option. I do not know how walking in the sand with heels would work. It was hard enough for me with bare feet. Search around the Jamaica forum and you will find pics of all locations for sure. Good Luck!

Please use the search feature on the navigation bar or browse through the Jamaica folders - you will find more photos and information on ROR than you will know what to do with!

No, we are all just trying to get new members to utilize the search function and do a little more research. ROR is one of the most popular resorts on this forum - there are countless reviews, pictures, threads dedicated just to that site.

please check out this folder for more searching tools and tips Bugs, issues or "how to" navigate forum questions.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
