What would be your miracle?

I love this question!

Mine would be for my son not to have glaucoma. I wish he just woke up tomorrow and didnt have it. To find a cure would be less selfish...We do have it under control currently, but it took a long, hard 6 months to get it under control. He was misdiagnosed for the first year and a half of his life- and thanks to my crazy mom instincts- the original dx of allergies wasnt good enough. To think he could have surgeries for the rest of his life, and the possibility of becoming blind. I know there are worse things, but not when it comes to your child...

It is hard to think about just one miracle. There are sooo many people in my life that I wish good things for. I guess I will start with my son. I would love for his father to see that Trevor is now 11 and time is running out for him to let go of his pride and be in his life. He needs to realize that even though he is "doing what he is legally required to do" that it is not enough to make sure his son is taken care of. Money is nothing. A relationship is everything.

I also would love for my father to have had the oppertunity to travel back 25 years and see what he was doing to himself. We all know we could talk til we were blue in our face but until he knew the impact of what he was doing he would not have changed his life. Then maybe he would have stopped smoking, and taken care of his blood sugar and he would have 2 legs he could walk on right now and all the benifits of not being an amputee.

I already got mine. Which makes me sad for the women that can't get pregnant or carry full term. They are in my prayers every night.

And, another would be that my little 2nd grade student that brought a knife to school last week would find a way to control his actions so that his mom would not be contemplating giving him away right now. He is so sweet and loving when he is not misbehaving.....I do not know another 8 year-old that takes meds for ADHD, ODD, and anti-psychotic. sad.gif

I hope this is not too forward but have you herd of Asbergers? My FI has an 12 year old with this and for years we just thought it was (severe) ADHD, OCD and depression. It took a new school with a new principal/teachers to help us discover his. Schools have a huge hand in helping uncover things like this. (we had never herd of this disorder before) His behavior was just something we accepted as Drew. Now we know there is a reason behind it. He is much better off now that we have a diagonsis and a better understanding of why he is the way he is. We also had taken him off medication a couple of years ago cause we had not discovered one that the good outweighed the bad. Now we (mom is not in the picture) have him on the right combination.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
