I am so glad I found this site! Everyone here seems so nice and helpful! I think it is a great idea to share our success (or setbacks) with the pressure of our ideal weight for the wedding. I have gained close to 20 pounds since I met my FI a year and a half ago....so I am determined to get back to my weight I was before!!

I have a calendar and write down how much I workout each day. It is nice to look back at the end of the week and see where you have done well or need to improve...Also, if you don't feel like working out, you can look at your calendar and say to yourself "Nope...can't miss today....you already took off on Monday and Wednesday!!"

Great job to everyone who is working hard!! I look forward to sharing more with you!!

It's great to have you join us Jennifer! I'm in a similar situation- all that "happy weight" I guess! It's a great group of girls here to help keep eachother on goal!

OK, girls- who all weighed in today? Time to fess up...

Well, the weight certainly isn't shedding the way I want to. I'm down 0.6lbs- still not back to where the scale was before Christmas, and before I started to workout. But, I found my body measurements from last October when I was doing Body for Life. I have lost 7 inches total since then- woohoo! Now I feel better, even if the scale doesn't say so.

Sarah, I think we should throw away the scale! I know I look better, I know I feel better- why can't the dang scale show that too?! I give up...repeat after me:

I am gaining muscle weight and losing fat...

I am gaining muscle weight and losing fat...

I am gaining muscle weight and losing fat...

I am down 5.8 lbs total. I am not counting the weight on my home scale, because it is so different than the WW scale, (mine shows less) I assume this is because I step on my scale in the morning with no clothes on. So I am going to go with what they tell me during my tuesday meeting.

Sarah and Sarah-you two are working out a lot so you are definately losing but because you are building muscle the scale might not say so.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
