Lisa, that sucks that you had a bad night. Maybe they were contractions? Are you feeling better now?

I haven't had any contractions...none, nada, zilch. Nothing going on here. sad.gif

Looks like you are making progress, Karma! Good for you! I wish I was!

I went to the ER last night. I had only felt Noah move twice in a 24 hour period and it kinda freaked me out.

I swear as soon as the L&D nurse put the two bands on me, he started moving! She had trouble finding his heartbeat but once she found it, it was a strong one. He is such a little turkey!

She had the little contraction monitor thingy on me and it seems I am having contractions every 4 minutes. I do not feel ANY at all, so she said they are probably just "warm up" contractions. She checked me out and I am not dialted at all....so are the "warm up" contractions BH? I seriously do not feel anything at all.

As soon as we got home, this boy was moving all around and is moving like crazy now. I am so thankful he is okay...I hate worrying so much!

Oh no, How scary. You did the right thing by going in. Hannah has her off days where she doesn't want to move much too, my doctor just said they are running out of room in there and it's getting more difficult for them to move.

And Yep, those "warm up" contractions are BH. A lot of women can't feel them.

I'm glad Noah is ok!

If that happens again Martha, drink a coke. My friend freaked once because she didn't feel her baby move for a while and they gave her a coke as soon as she got to the ER. She said her baby started moving right away, they told her if it happend again to try that first!! You are getting soooo close! YAY!

Martha - I'm glad Noah was ok. I'm sure it was just because he's running outta room. I can't believe you're so close!! I would just drink the caffine and sugar to get him going next time he scares you like that.

I'm feeling so much better now. I got a little rest Friday night, but not as much as I wanted. We went to dinner w/ James' parents and when we got home 2 of my friends were at the resturant we just left and wanted me to go back up there to give me my gift they've had forever. So I got home at like 9:30 and had to get up at 5:45 to do the Komen race. That was alot of fun. I didn't have any issues walking the 3.1 miles. I got tons of looks and people just couldn't believe I was out there walking. As I was crossing the finish line - - 1 hour and 6 minutes later...I got lots of claps :) it was pretty funny.

I've still been having my vajayjay pains. Sharp pains at times and then just a constant hurt continuously. I took a look "down there" with a mirror on Saturday and all I can say is gross!! They are so swollen and blueish purple. I'm sure they will be that way until I deliver sad.gif

Kat, I never heard of trying Coke. I tried juice and that didn't work...if I get freaked out again, I'll try the Coke! :)

Lisa, do you have vericose veins in the vaj-jay-jay? Mine is still so sore, but I am afraid to look. ha!

Good for you for walking the race! I haven't done Race for the Cure in about 3 years....I hope to do it this coming April in S.A.

Noah has been moving around like crazy ever since that night in the ER. He is a little turkey! I've have never made two trips to the ER in a period of 5 days! I kept my hospital bands to put in his baby book.

I have my OB appt tomorrow and I hope I get some good news...I haven't been walking like I should, but we have been doing other things to hopefully get the cervix softened up. If ya catch my drift. wink.gif Although, I must admit Lisa's doctor kinda freaked me out about the hand...although I am sure he was joking.

DUDE Martha - Look at it!!!! It's so crazy looking!!

I don't have any vericose vains, it's just really puffy and purpleish. Not cute at all. Drunk James did try to make it feel better this weekend....i know tmi..lol. we have also been trying to soften it "other ways" as well...even though my doc freaked me out too. Hey - whatever gets him here the fastest is what I say!!!

Lisa- Congrats on finishing the race. That really is awesome. I would have given up 1/4 of the way through!

As for me, I went to the Doc today. NOTHING is going on down there. It is still closed. I'm starting to get depressed. :-( I don't want her out today or anything, but it would be nice to see a little progress.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
