Just a quick update, removed reference to her name since she hasn't gone public with her situation just yet...

Hey gals! Just wondering if any of you are currently taking or took folic acid before you got pregnant and which brands were the best??

My Doc reccomended talking a prenatal for the folic acid for 1 year prior to conception to get the full prevention of pre term labor and brain developement.

I have been taking the Safeway brand one's, with no nausea issues, sometimes I am sensative so it was a nice suprise.

Crap I forgot that she also had me take more Calcium and Vitamin D to get your body ready. I guess that getting pregnant can really be hard on your ability to absorb/retain calcium as it usually get rereouted to baby and used up. So to be sure you have a had a ample amount going into the pregnancy
