That's so exciting Martha!!!!
I was laying on the couch last night watching my belly and I saw a hand or something push out the side of my stomach. It was so weird and cool! James is out of town this week so I sent him a text and told him but he didn't believe me. He'll believe me when he gets home tomorrow and gets to see it for himself. smile159.gif

Mo - good luck at your appt. Alot of the girls on here has had the transvaginal ultrasound. I don't think it's that bad. Let us know how it goes.

Mo, that's so exciting that you get your first ultrasound today! I had the transvaginal one the other day and it sounds worse than it is. I hardly noticed it because I was so captivated by the baby moving on the screen:)

Mo- Good Luck on the ultrasound today! I'm sure it will go fine. The good news is at 10 weeks you will get some really good pics of the baby!

We bought Hannah's nursery furniture this week. I highly recommend if you are buying a whole bedroom set to look early. Our set is going to take 8 weeks to come in, and there are some that take even longer. We went with a lifetime bed that will change from a crib to toddler bed, to a full size bed. So it will last a lifetime.

Not much new for me. Except I am EXHAUSTED! I don't know if it is from the vacation still, but I have been sleeping every day for 11 hours. It's starting to get out of hand.

Good luck Mo....I've had a few transvaginal u/s's and they're really not bad...I think a pelvic exam is much worse! At my transvaginal u/s, we got to hear the heartbeat...hope you get to as well.

Karma ~ I love Hannah's furniture...the nursery in the picture is decorated so beautiful too.

Well, I had my first "real" ultrasound yesterday. It was amazing..the baby actually looks like a baby now.

I want to feel kicks too! And to see a hand or foot or something..that's be so cool!

It was so exciting to meet our baby for the first time. I was sure it was going to look like an unrecognizable blob but it didn't it looked like a baby with a huge head and tiny body. They said it was kind of too early to get measurements of my cervix which is what I went for so I have to go back Aug. 25th for another ultrasound. The baby's heart was beating 160 bpm and measured big so my due date is moved up from Feb. 10th to Feb. 2nd. I'm so excited!
That is great news, I am so glad to hear everything went so well. And yay, another ultrasound. I would have another one if they let me. I would do it every month.

    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
