That's what mine feels like too. I've only felt one full blown kick and that was when I rammed the laundry basket in him...lol. Other than that, just some bubbly, gasy feelings. Yah for baby movement!!!

Lisa- No, I committed a BDW sin. I left the house without my camera when I tried it on at the shop!

 

Martha- That is pretty much what I feel when Hannah kicks. Usually I will feel about 6-8 kicks at a time, then it will stop for a while. It happens so quickly it's easy to miss.

So, are they kicks or just him moving around. I have been feeling the movement a little low on my belly, like below my belly button somewhere...I guess that is his feet? Heck, I don't know!

 

I am just glad I am feeling something now!!!

 

 

on a disturbing note, I had a horrible nightmare last night. I dreamt that I went for my follow-up sonogram (the one I actually have this Wed.) and there are issues with his kidneys...his kidneys and liverS (hello, it was a dream) were growing together and he had shingles and he is bi-polar.

 

Okay....we only have one liver and how in the world can his liver and kidneys grow together, how can they tell he has shingles and how can they tell he is bi-polar? Obviously this follow-up sonogram is on my mind waaaaaaaaay too much!

 

I just hope she can get a good view of his kidneys on Wed. since that is the reason I have to go back! But, at least I get to see him again!

Oh Martha - that was a crazy dream. I'm sure everything is fine. That's cool that you get another sono! I love those things!

 

I started having crazy dreams again too.

I dreamt last night that he kicked me so hard, that his foot busted through my stomach - nice huh!?

I am glad I get to see him again, I just wish it was under diff. circumstances.

So martha - are they specifically looking at his kidney and liver at this sono? Did they have concerns, or no?

She couldn't get a good view of his kidneys last time...She said it was because he was curled up. I hope she wasn't just tryng to make me feel better. I hope they are growing right.

 

But, after the sono, I met with my doctor and he was the one that said I needed to go back in 2 weeks for a follow-up because there were some things the sono lady couldn't get. So, I don't know if "some things" are just his kidneys or other things too. I didn't even think to ask! Bad mommy....so I have been a little worried since then. I just want him to be healthy, ya know? Of course you know!

Oh ok. Well maybe it was just that he wasn't cooperating that day. I know my lady did so many measurements of his insides. I bet she just didn't have a good view. I wouldn't worry about it - altough I know you are. I would be too. I'm sure it's all good. That's good they want you to come back to double check things though.

I think they have a "checklist" of things they need to see. The first time, she couldn't see Austin's lip, and they check for cleft. So we had to have another one because of that. I'm sure everything will be fine! I was happy, because then they were able to get a 4D pic! Austin's face was always against the placenta, so it was hard to get all the views they needed sometimes. After I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, I had an U/S at every appt! I was giving those pix away, I had so many!! (Actually just gave 1 set to my MIL when she was there.)

Thank you girls. I am on the phone with Jay and we are talking about it. He is going to say a special prayer on top of the normal one for Noah tonight. He is so sweet.

 

I am worried but I am trying to not stress until I know for sure.

 

Amy, do you remember when they start measuring the lips and stuff? I would be curious to know.

 

 

Mo, I am glad you are being recommended to the high risk specialist. I am sure you would rather not be considered high risk, but at least you and the baby will get the proper care!
