Mrs Martin - first off, you look FANTASTIC!!! Such a beautiful pregnant mommy! And it looks like you got some awesome stuff from the shower! And I agree about the bedding, it's super cute and will make for a great little boy's room!

Summer, I cant believe you are going to have a 9lb baby. You are tiny to be pushing one out. I made my ob promise not to make me push out a 9 lber. He laughed and said aw oh and left the room.

Mrs. Martin your pics are great looks like you had a great time.

I have a little complaining to do, sorry in advance. My brother ang his gf are expecting their baby boy about 4 weeks before we are. I have been planning to do our daughters room with a jungle theme since before we were even pregnant, I'm not into pinky princess things. It's mainly turned into all giraffe since they are my favorite animal. I love nature and bamboo my wedding had a ton of bamboo things etc. They were doing a sports theme so I thought, we walk into their shower last weekend and it is head to toe jungle animals and not just any animals, friggin' giraffes!!! I was so pissed. My husband reminds me that they didn't throw their own shower so dont be mad. When I asked her aout the sportd theme she says, oh we changed our mind! Why wouldn't they tell us? I know I didn't invent the theme but to use the same animal when I made it perfectly clear what we were doing all along. We also live down the road from each other exactly 1 mile and we talk all the time and see each other. I just think it's rude. Thank you, I feel a little better now. : )

I'd be upset too, actually. my sister is due two weeks after me, so I definitely know what you mean.

I'm sure, although the same theme, the rooms will look completely different. That'll be nice. Do you guys already have your bedding?

Hello ladies, hope everyone is doing well.

I don't do too much complaining but I guess it's my time. Sorry in advance!!!!

Well I just got back from my appt and my homegirl is still BREECH. I am beyond disappointed. I've been crying ever since she told me. So of course she's scheduling a c-section in 3 weeks. There is only a 10% chance she will turn so I'm giving it all my hope and doing everything I can do. I go back next Monday to see if she is still breech, if she isn't then they will induce me at 37 weeks so I can have my natural birth like I planned. It's upsetting because it seems like when I plan for things it goes the complete opposite. (sigh)

Ok, enough of my drama.

How is everyone else doing?

Awww Angel i'm sorry she's breech. My SIL's baby was breech, scheduled for a c-section, and the little bugger flipped around and was delivered within an hour after going into labor! So, it's totally possible your girl turns her little butt around :).

My complaint for the day is being ITCHY! My eczema is rocking. My doctor said with pregnancy it's usually worse. I'm trying a new cream Kat recommended and it seems to be helping. I need to give it more time to know for sure. Oh and Kat, YAY for your baby girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tlseege, we have picked some of our bedding we're buying it seperatly not a full set. And yes the room colors are different so it's really no biggie, it was just a bit annoying.

Kat- how exciting a little girl!! Shopping is going to be so much fun!

Angel- Sorry to hear about your breach baby, but who knows maybe she will turn just in time like mentioned before. I hope everything goes safely and smoothly for you!

How is everyone sleeping? I'm getting a bit uncomfortable and use about 6 pillows. But I'm feeling good and plump : )

    • Hi all! I know this is an old thread... but just in case there are other destination wedding brides out there with the same question, I thought I would answer! My guy and I live in Texas and just got our marriage license (yay!). We are getting married in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The Dallas County clerk informed us that we can get our marriage license in Texas, bring it and a Texas-registered officiant to Mexico, have the ceremony in Mexico, then bring the marriage license back to Texas to file and it will be LEGAL in the US.  In  other words, we can legally get married in Mexico using our Texas marriage license and officiant (who is a family friend), then file the paperwork when we get home. Where it says 'county in which ceremony was performed' on the license, we just put in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and bam! Married :) I do not know if this is true for other states, but it is CONFIRMED for Texas! I suggest asking the clerk when you register for your marriage license. I am overjoyed that we can have a US-legal marriage in Mexico so our wedding date on our license will be the actual day! NO blood tests, or getting married before or after the trip required!
    • Every Bride spends a lot of time researching and worrying about her perfect wedding dress. While many Indian brides choose the traditional red colour for their bridal gown, a few of them find some different colours to wear on their special day. Here is a description of how to choose an Indian wedding dress that suits your skin tone. 1) Fair complexion: You can choose any shade of blue or bright shades of pink and red. In the shades of blue- select scuba blue or royal blue. Among other colours this season, you can pick up your dress in tangerine.   2) Wheatish complexion Just select those colours which bring out the warmth in your complexion. Some of the best options for you are tangy orange, saffron yellow, vibrant shades of red, mint green and hot pink.   3) Dusky complexion: If you have an olive skin tone, then you can pull off any rich and dark colour quite well. So, the colours like classic blue, marsala, burnt orange and brick red are just perfect for you. Also the metallic silver, gold and bronze will even flatter your face pretty well
