Hi everyone...

Things are going well with me too. I am so excited for Friday to find out the sex. Tomorrow I will be 18 weeks. I don't know if I felt the baby move, sometimes I think I have but not sure. I really want to feel him/her. I can't wait to see the baby. I hate this waiting period...

Congrats and good luck Andrea!!!!!!

And Kelly I know the pain you are talking about. It usually only happens to me if I've been laying down for a long period of time, and as soon as I put my foot on the floor and put weight on it the pain is unbearable. It's terrible!!!!!!!

Well I go in for surgery on the 15th to have this lump removed under my arm. I'm glad I'm finally getting it removed.

I know it may be too early for some but does anyone have nursery ideas?

Well for me, my daughter is a little too old to share a room with her little brother so the baby and my little boy has to share a room for now since we only have 3 bedrooms upstairs. So we're going to do neutral colors and I'm getting a Winnie the Pooh crib and bedding and I'll draw the characters on the wall. He's 4 so I don't think he's too old for Pooh. I don't want my son in a room full of pink. KWIM

I'm sketching out my ideas now so I can get an idea of what I want it to look like. And then after that I know my daughter is going to want hers done too so I'm working on that as well. So much to do.

I actually just started my nursery this weekend!!

We painted a light brown, toffeeish color on the walls. Then the furniture is all white. The cribing set is Monkey Vine at Babies R Us. i just love the little monkey!!

We also put together the crib on Monday, so that was really exciting. Now if only I had a mattress! :)

So now it's time to decorate and accent. I really didn't want a theme (that's why I went with Monkey Vine instead of other bedding... it's just ONE little monkey, not monkeypaloosa!). So hopefully it'll all come together very nicely in the end! :)

Hi to all the mommies to be :)

Sorry to hear about your pain Kelly, hope it subsides soon! Bisha did the baby come out from under your ribs?? Good luck with your surgery Angel.....Please let us know how you are doing!! So cool Yari.....good luck, I am excited for you. I think once we have our sonogram things will start moving really fast!! Ours is April 16th!

I got my results from the tests we had done. I wasnt stressing about them but we are good with the specialist for downs etc - had very high numbers (1 in 10k) and dont need to go back......Gluose test was 72 and they want you under 140 I was a little afraid of that number would be high since I am chunky to begin with LOL.....also I am not a carrier of CF but my sister was so they wanted to test me!! What a relief!!

Good luck with the babys room - I have been obsessed with monkeys lately.....I am hoping to do the Pop Monkey theme from Babies r us :)

OMG!!!! Wow, you ladies are a lot further with the nursery than I am. I called my dad today so he's going to help me with the mural and then paint. I have resisted the urge to buy stuff for the baby because we are having a big baby shower next month. But we did get our first baby gift the other day. We got these cute little baby socks, a frame and a onsie that says "Someone at the Pentagon loves me." A coworker that works with my husband at the Pentagon gave it to us. I can't wait for all the baby stuff. I forgot how exciting it is.

You are all sooo good to have gotten started on the nurseries and Kelly, laundry done!? Good for you! Hubby and I keep walking by the former office, soon to be babie's room and shaking our heads. It is just such a mess right now! We decided that we need to clear it out by the end of the week and go get paint! We have basically decided on a color and a theme so all is left is execusion! :) LOL The walls will be orange, furniture is white and chocolate brown and we'll have a circle theme going with white, brown and blue. Still have to find a window treatment but at least we have a direction:) I feel soooo unprepared especially since we have nothing (other than the stroller) purchased and my big family/friends shower is not until May 2!!! My biggest fear is that this baby will be early and we'll have nothing! smile41.gif

OOO, I love the concept of your nursery! I can't wait for you to get it done and take pictures for us!! :)

As for having the stuff... don't worry. May 2nd is only four weeks away and if your bouncy little boy decides he wants to make his appearance, people will bring you stuff. Plus, what do you REALLY need right away? Diapers, wipes, formula (if you're going that route), onesie and a blanket. All the big fancy stuff can wait.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
