Thanks so much! I am feeling ok. I haven't thrown up at all but I am always pretty queasy. I am tired a lot. I think I am pretty lucky though compared to a lot of what I have heard. We had our U/S on Monday and we got to see the heartbeat and the little baby moving around. Pretty cool.

Congrats Kat! and welcome to the Mommy thread! smile03.gif

So, we had a little scare yesterday. Baby G was all nice and active Sunday night and then really lethargic on Monday and no movement (that I could feel) all day yesterday. At lunch, I drank a 16oz bottle of cold orange juice and kept poking at him and still nothing! So I started freaking out a little and decided to call the doc. After he told me that they're waiting for me at the hospital to get checked out, I REALLY started freaking out!!! Well, I'm happy to report that all is well and he's been kicking up a storm today! :) I felt kind'of silly for how freaked out I got (soooo not like me!) blush2.gif but, glad we went and saw that all is well. Seems like the main cause for me not feeling him is that he's been head down this whole time and is now breach, in addition to my anterior placenta.

Thanks girls!

Bisha- I bet that was so scary for you! That happened to my friend once and they went to the Emergency Room and they had her drink a can of coke. As soon as she did the baby started moving all around. She was freaking out too. I am glad all is well though.

It was beyond scary! I laught at my reaction now but at the time, nothing but very scary and bad thoughts would enter my mind! It's quite the drive from my work to the hospital too so I had waaaayyyy too much time to think about it! It was very reassuring that as soon as we stepped into the maternity triage area, they put the monitor on and the baby's heartbeat was perfect! :) I'm liking this hospital more and more:)

Yeah, I would have freaked out too. Even now if the baby doesn't do it's normal kick boxing class from 9:30-10:00 pm I get concerned. I can't even imagine not feeling it for a whole day. How scary. But thank goodness everything is okay!!!

And along the lines of baby kicks, my husband finally agreed to try and feel the baby kick, and she walloped him a good one! :) So now he touches my belly constantly. It's so cute because he was SO anti belly before. And then last night he was trying to feel the baby and she was NOT moving (very sleepy apparently). Well, I ate dinner and five minutes later there was the aerobics class action. But this time I pulled up my shirt and looked... AH! That was hilarious! My stomach looked like a popcorn popping machine! It was so cool! Now i just sit here and stare at my stomach! So antiproductive, but cool all at the same time!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
