We do have names in mind but we decided to keep them a secret till she is born. We are down to 2 names and will wait till she comes out to pick which one we think suits her best.

I'm glad to hear everyone is doing good and hanging in there.

Martha - I hope the D thing goes away soon! Take care of yourself and keep us posted.

Sarah - that's so exciting that you find out soon. Alot of us will find out very soon.....so exciting!! I hope my doc doesn't make me wait til I'm 19 or 20 weeks!!

o.k., so I wake up at least 3 times a night to pee - every night! It sucks!!! I also find myself laying on my back alot. I try not too, but when I wake up in the middle of the night and I'm there, it freaks me out a little and I move immediatly. I told James if he catches me on my back to roll me over :) LOL!

the weight of your uterus can put too much pressure on your Vena Cava which can cut off your circulation to the lower part of your body.

I asked my doctor about sleeping on your back (and I've read in several books) that said to try to avoid sleeping on your back, but you'll wake up if there's too much pressure or anything like that. If you are a back sleeper, it's easy enough to have a small pillow partially under you so you aren't completely flat (incase you're worried).

I'm a side sleeper, unless I'm passed out drunk, which hasn't happened since getting pregnant. :)

See I thought it would cut off circulation to the baby. So it's only cutting off circulation to MY lower body...nothing to do with the baby?

I still have alot to learn. That's why I love you girls!

"Most women find that laying on their right or left side is most comfortable during pregnancy. Laying on your back is not recommended, as this can compress your inferior vena cava. If you compress this vein you'll find your blood flow restricted and you may feel lightheaded while laying down or upon rising. The left sided sleep position is easily achieved with a pregnancy pillow.

Most doctors recommend that pregnant women lie on their left side. This promotes optimal blood flow to your body and uterus. If however you find that you are more comfortable on your right side, there is no reason you shouldn't sleep on this side. Most women will also find they need added support while sleeping. This can most easily be accomplished through use of a body pillow. You may find it helps to tuck a body pillow under your belly and legs, and then also use a smaller pillow to support your back so you don't roll over on your back while sleeping.

If you do find you rolled onto your back while sleeping, don't panic. Simply roll back onto one of your sides and go back to sleep. Most women will find a position they are comfortable enough in to catch some zzz's. Some women find they do best in a semi-reclined position. You may for example find that you sleep better in a recliner or in a position similar to that a recliner might put you in. If this is the case, go for it. What matters is your comfort, not the exact position you fall asleep in."

Mo, if you really want to eat some deli meat, find some Boar's head, supposedly that's the better one...but I avoided it pretty much all together.

    • The cooking method can double the calorie content of a meal, so learn about healthy cooking without having to add extra fats, like using a steamer,  a rotisserie , a slow cooker , a pressure cooker, a grill. Once you cook your own meals, you can control the calorie content because your control the cooking method and all the ingredients. A lot of people are overweight because they keep eating food that they did not cook.
    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
