I am so excited, guys....Anxious but excited!!!

Christina, I am worried the same thing would happen to me...I just don't wanna put myself or Noah through that. Your sister did have a big baby. My sister had a 9lb. 12 oz baby boy and he was huge! She had him and his brother (9lb 8 oz) vaginally w/ no epidural...she is a trooper for sure!

Bisha, that is cool! Oct. 28th is a great day!!! smile29.gif

I'm feeling so blah today girls. I've been feeling nautious and crampy all day. It was a little cool this morning and I had no long sleeved shirts to wear so I wore a regualr sweatshirt and it's too tight on my tummy and I'm uncomfortable in it, and hot, and grump, and crampy, and achy and I just want to go home!!

That is exactly how I felt the day my water broke, I had no idea why I was so tired and sore and grumpy, the I woke up from my afternoon nap to wet underwear :) You might be having him sooner than you think.

Aww, I hope you feel better soon Lisa. I totally understand how your are feeling right now. I have all summer maternity clothes so I have nothing to wear in this cool weather. Hopefully the cramps are making some progress for you though!

How are you feeling now, Lisa?

I hope he waits a a few more weeks so you will be at the 38th week mark. The longer the better (for him, not you. ha!).

I wish I could sleep.....heartburn just kicked in a bit, so I think I will be up until Jay goes to work at 6am. Blah.

Martha, I still can't believe that Noah is going to be here on Tuesday. How are you doing?

Question: Did any of you have bad lower back pain? My back has been really really hurting for a couple of days. I notice that it gets bad when I'm sitting at work for long periods and it gets unbearable when I'm running around a lot. I've made a point to get up from my desk every other hour or so and take a 10 minute walk so that sorta helps the sitting problem but not 100%. Today I ran a bunch of errands, but nothing really strenuous and now it's very painful. I've been trying to sleep with a pillow in between my legs and laying on my side, but I'm still waking up in the middle of the night with pain. And I've been doing more back strengthening exercises at the gym. I am thinking of buying one of those maternity lower back support bands, but wasn't sure if they actually helped. Any suggestions?

Today we went to Babies R Us to look for the dresser that I want (which wasn't in stock). Mike's sister was with us and when I was showing Mike and her the stroller/car seat that I like, she went a got a cart and said she was buying it for me and wouldn't take no for an answer. I am sooooo excited because it is the one thing that I really wanted. It is the Chicco Cortina Travel System with the KeyFit 30 car seat. Yay!!!!!!!!!!

I'm feeling alot better today girls. I did nothing this weekend and it was great!! I think I just needed some rest. I go to the doc tomorrow, so maybe all the cramping did something.

Lizz - I've had lower back pain for awhile now. For awhile I would lay with a heating pad on my back all night. I also got the icy hot things that you use on your tummy when you're cramping....just put them on your back - they work!

Thanks! I was wondering if I was allowed to use the Icy Hot things, so good to know I can. I have some at my house that I bought awhile ago for my legs (stress fractures) so I'll use them tonight.

Glad you're feeling better!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
