-all suites are private!
-one nurse per room. so, me and Luke will have the same nurse so there is no confusion.
Glad your appointment and class went well! The hospital rules sound perfect Lisa! What hospital are you delivering at?

I love the fact that they put the baby on your chest first. Steve and I have been arguing about who is going to hold Hannah first. :-( I'm just going to tell my dr. ahead of time to make sure I do!

Lisa- I'm delivering at Centennial Medical Center here in Frisco. I really wanted to deliver at Baylor-Frisco but Steve wanted to be closer to home. LOL. Baylor Frisco is 15 minutes away and Centennial is 5.

You look absolutely adorable, All baby! Cute Mama!!!!

Ladies- Have any of you picked out your diaper bags yet? I'm really struggling with this one. It's the only thing I don't have. Her stroller is brown, and I'm really a neutral kind of girl. I want quality but also don't want to pay a ton. Any suggestions on brands?

Lisa, you look sooo cute!!!

As for diaper bags, I treated myself and bought a Petunia Pickle Bottom bag. It retails for around $160, but I got it on ebay for $50. I got it in the mail yesterday and love it...it is so cute! I'm such a bag person, I figured this was a good excuse to buy a nice bag:)

Lisa - I really like that bag. I really lucked out on finding my bag for $50 (I'm a crazy ebay buyer!).

Mo - that bedding is adorable!

I stepped on the scale this morning and gained 4 pounds since last week!!! Now I am miserable. I KNOW I'm supposed to gain weight, but at the rate I'm going, I feel as if I'm going to gain so so so much! I'm hoping the 4 lbs. was just from the huge dinner I had last night and maybe water weight, but probably not. I have never been someone who gains weight, so this is very hard for me. I'm not eating much more than usual and I'm still working out 5-6 days per week. I just don't get it. I'm fine with gaining the recommended 25-35 pounds, but I just don't want to gain 50!

So...to make myself feel a little better, I ordered the crib bedding online today. What do you think? Little Star Bedding by Kimberly Grant - Baby Crib Bedding

As for the weight, I think you will find that you gain in spurts so even if it's 4 lbs. this week then maybe next week you will hardly gain at all. It will all even out and if you're not totally overeating and you're still working out I'm sure you won't gain over 30-35lbs. I know it's scary but try not to worry about it and if you can try not to weigh yourself too much.

I was just looking at the bedding and I think I am going to have my aunt embroider "Tim's Trucking" on the bumper. Or I may just do his initials TJS Trucking because I'm still not sure if we will call him Tim, Timmy, or T.J.
The embroidery would be so cute...what a great idea!

Thanks for the weight advice. I know I'm driving myself crazy and shouldn't weigh myself. Mike said he's going to throw the scale away...lol. And I'm sure even if I do gain a lot, it will come off afterwards. I'm just so aggravated b/c I'm eating right and exercising. Oh well!

I really love my bedding. I am planning on painting the walls cream and getting a dark beige rug to keep the room neutral, so I thought the green would brighten it up a bit. I think it's pretty neutral and good for a boy or a girl. I can't wait til it comes in the mail!

Lisa, you look great! I, on the other hand, am a whale! I need to find the camera cord to post pictures. I have been SO bad about taking baby bump pics.... sad.gif I know I am going to end up regretting not doing so! sad.gif

We got a basic black diaper bag so that Jay could carry it also. :) Smart thinking on my part! :) I don't really like it, but it will do. My best friend that just had a baby 2 weeks ago found a Betsey Johnson on ebay for like $120 but it is super big and heavy...I don't know how she carries it! It is cute though!

I hear Ed Hardy makes diaper bags now, I may check them out...although since I am taking a year off, we need to watch the dinero!

Mo! Taht bedding is so cute!

Lisa- Yeah, Centennial is right on 121. Coit is one of the other cross streets and I'm pretty sure it is Lebanon. We live just right around the corner from there.

Lizz- You got a great deal on the Petunia Pickle Bottom. I've read that they are defiantly the "It" diaper bag. :-) Also, don't worry about the weight gain. I gained like 15 pounds the first couple of months, but I am hardly gaining anything now. I've only gained 10 oz in the last month. Mo, is defiantly right. It comes in spurts sometimes.

Mo- I love that bedding!! It is so cute. I love the idea of doing the embroidery. I love anything embroidered for babies! Such great keepsakes!

Martha- I have been horrible about taking pics too. I'm already kind of regretting it, but oh well. I guess we should get on that now though! :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
