On another note I started feeling my baby girl move and kick like crazy a few days ago. She is really active after I eat or if I am in one position for too long she lets me know it is time to move. What a wonderful and strange feeling!

That is really strange how that works. The scale says the same for me but my clothes don't fit.

Things that make you go hmmm.....

I'm sure I will be showing by 3 months too. My Mom keeps reminding me that since it's my second I will show sooner. I started buying maternity bathing suits and clothes for our vacation in August because I know I won't fit in regular stuff. I was a size 12 to begin wih and had a bit of a belly pouche to begin with too. I guess at least now I have an excuse for it, lol. So I think it's great that you're showing already. I had my daughter 12 years ago so we kind of have that in common too. How do you think your daughter will do with the new baby?

My daughter is extremely excited and she is hoping for a girl. The WHOLE family is hoping for a boy. I feel like she will do well with the new baby. Hopefully she won't go through the jealousy phase since she is used to being my only child she is kinda protective when it comes to me. My fiance has 2 kids from his first marriage they are excited as well. His daugther is 13 and wants the baby to sleep in her room. His son hugs my stomach. They each have their own way of showing affection for the newbie that is coming soon. They are all pretty excited.

How about your daughter? I bet she is extremely excited and helpful.

I have only gained 9 pounds and I am almost 5.5 months, but I have gained a ton of inches! I am HUGE!

Does your wedding dress still fit?

I actually bought another dress, because the one I had was tight fitting I needed something with more room. It just came in 2 weeks ago. I am going to try it on when I get home from work.

I feel like I am going to be HUGE in a month as well, so I ordered the dress in a size 12 when I am really a size 10.

I had to cancel my first dress bcause I knew there was no way it would fit when I was 6 months pregnant. Luckily I was able to cancel it before it was shipped.

I ordererd a neqw one a few months ago...I ordered it 2 sizes too big so that I knew it would fit the belly. It is huge up top, but I am getting it altered. It is a very flowy dress so that I am comfy.

You have to post pictures when you try it on today!

Just got back from the dr. They did the 20 week u/s today. Hannah is perfectly healthy. I'm so relieved and happy. I've gained 5 pounds this month alone. I think I'm at about 15 pounds total so far.

I picked up my dress yesterday and it's fantastic. I can't believe she transformed the size 10 dress to fit me and belly. It's amazing what a corset back can do. The alterations were about $500 but totally worth it, cause I really wanted to wear my dress. The dress is form fitting and my baby belly actually looks really cute in it. I was all alone so didn't get pictures. :-(

I believe it's something your doctor would tell you. I just assumed mine was in the "correct" spot because otherwise he would have said something but I think I'll ask next week.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
