I wish I remember when I started to feel movement, this is why I think everyone should write this stuff down, I did not start writing it down till 26 weeks.

Anyway, for me it felt like gas or flutters, but they were also very fast and did not happen that much. Then it started to feel a lot like popping, I have read that they liken it to popcorn popping, and that was pretty crazy and it happened more frequently than the flutters. That happened for a while before it turned into actual kicks.

I would not worry that you can't feel it yet, you are still early on and it is different for everyone. Also, it all depends on the position the baby is in, if they are far away from your "walls" then you will not feel them moving around.

Martha, the worrying never stops, once you feel movement you will freak out when you don't feel it. I don't feel a lot anymore because Ainsleigh is too big now and she is settled in my pelvis-also she is facing towards my back so I only feel her when she shifts her booty a little bit, she is sitting in an L shaped so she doesn't even kick me...I actually went to the doc a while back freaked out because I didn't feel her, but apparently its kinda normal towards the end.

i had pitocin, but they also started the epidural at the same time - so i didn't feel anything afterwards. maybe the same can be done for you!

it is different for everyone! and when i had an u/s at 18 weeks, i hadn't felt anything yet. the doc. said that becuase of the way my placenta was positioned, that i might not for a few more weeks. i guess where it was was muffling the movement.

Why have I never heard of this colostrum word before? I figured it out, but here I am trying to educate myself since I have never been pregnant before and yet I had never known the actual name of this. Sheesh!

I am so hungry! I have hypothyroidism and have to take my synthroid pill in the morning an hour before I eat....problem is, I wake up starving now. fencing.gif

I usually just take it when I wake up between 3-5 to tinkle and then fall right to sleep so that when I wake up in the morning I can eat....I didn't wake up to tinkle until 5:45 and never went back to sleep.

Why did I just share that? Random.

I wake up starving too Martha.

Colustrom is the initial stuff that comes out of your boobs before you have milk, most people don't get it until the baby is born, but some of us lucky girls leak before baby is born.

Lately I can see it leaking so I think I will be good on the milk production end.
My supply has been great so far - but this is when it peaks, so I am pumping my little heart out! In fact, I have been producing so much, the hospital staff actually told me to stop bringing it in - I was taking up too much of their freezer space! And we just paid about $400 to ship my supply back to MN. Ouch.

SO glad I didn't have to deal with this before she was born - I'd have gone insane! I can't go anywhere now w/o pads these days, it's a mess! Bless your heart, Christine, for putting up with it for so long.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
