Julie, Did you already announce what you were having? I remember you were having a sono a while back...maybe I missed it?

I have had diarrhea for almost a week. I finally called today and they told me what to take for it and to stick to a bland rice, toast, banana, apple sauce, and soup diet for 24 hours and if it doesn't go away to call them back. I have been staying hydrated because I know that is super important...I hope it goes away soon, this is nuts!

We have our 20 week sono on the 16th to hopefully determine gender!!! I have a feeling it's a girl....we'll see!!!

My butt has been hurting, I think it's growing!!!ha! No, seriously.

I have been trying to lay on my left side as much as possible, but it's hard. Sometimes I lay on my right just to give my left side a rest and sometimes on my back, but not for long....

I haven't really felt any movement. I think I did a while back but haven't felt that since, I hope that is not bad?

I think I did announce it, I can't remember in what thread though. We are having a girl.

I get the butt pain all the time as well, got it a lot in the beginning, I think its because I sit a lot in my job. In fact I have the butt pain now and have had it all day. Only on my right side though, its strange.

I hope you can find out what are you having, I can't wait to hear.

Wow a lot of us are finding out soon - I have my appointment to find out the sex on the 11th at 8:15am. I am counting the minutes! And Angela I will think of you when I get up to pee at 4:30 tommorow morning - that seems to be the time I am up too! Well that and midnight if I have gone to bed early.

Martha you can lay on your right and if you want to lay on your back-try putting a pillow under one side to sorta prop you up...that helped me a lot.

My Dr. made a good point once when I asked him about the left side thing and he said women labor for hours on their back and nothing bad happens, if you wind up on your back-don't stress.

I guess since I'm now officially a mommy, I can't post on this thread anymore!!! sad.gif

I am so happy that everybody's pregnancies are going so well!!! Those small inconveniences will TOTALLY leave your mind once your little one arrives! The terrible swelling in my legs and the gestational diabetes- can't hardly remember them now! I feel like I have the SKINNIEST legs I've ever had! I've lost 40 pounds, and Austin is only 11 days old (I gained about 35). Still can't comfortably get my engagement ring on (my wedding band is a 1/4 size bigger, and that is fine), but I have put it on a few times! I still have some tightening feelings in my hands.

Austin had his first doctor's appt. today, and he now weighs 7 lbs. 11 oz. (was 7 lbs. 14 oz. at birth, 7 lbs. 3oz. when we left the hospital, and 7 lbs. 6 oz. last Tuesday when we went for a post-partum appt.). The doctor is very happy that he's gaining! He should be since I'm feeding him about every 2 hours!!! Although I can't believe he's gaining anything with the amount of peeing and pooping he does!!!

Keep posting to this thread so I can know how everyone is doing!!! Oh, and to those of you peeing at 4:30, I'll think of you when I'm feeding at that time! wink.gif

Wow - I just read page 1-11 how cute you all are! Congrats Amy and Anny on your new little bundles! And the rest of you guys too! Isn't it great to have other pregnant buddies to talk too? My little guy is going to be 1 on Friday so I am going through baby withdrawals! Your posts helped - enjoy it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
