I'm sure dr. are use to 1st time moms being a little more concerned about things that a 2nd and 3rd time mom would not even think twice about. I say if something hurts or doesn't feel right - - call the dr.!
I think it's always important to check in. I know I learned my lesson the hard way- I suffered for 2 days with "gas" pains. It hurt so bad but one time I went to the ER with real gas pains and I was mortified. I didn't want to do it again.

I ended up having appendicitis. Instead of having it removed laparoscopic, I had to have it the old fashioned way because it was large and leaking. I now have a 4 inch nasty scar on my abodomen instead of 2 really small cute holes. I was also in the hospital for 5 days.

When in doubt, get it checked out. :)

Oh wow! That's crazy! I've always had issues going #2, so when I got preggo I knew I was going to have extra issues since I couldn't take anything to make me go. But my doc told me it was safe to take stool softners, so all is good now.

  • 4 weeks later...

Hi ladies! Just checking in to see how everyone is feeling...

I've been feeling really good. I've had a little presure on my bladder at night. Seems like when I lay down, I have to pee....or I just have that feeling that I have to pee. Kinda annoying!

Can't wait for my 16 wk appt. on Thursday!! Crossing my fingers that he will schedule a sono soon!

I guess I shouldn't be complaining about the bladder thing. I know it's only going to get worse!

I doubt she will come early, I was three weeks late myself so I am still really praying for her to be here by father's day which is about three days before my due date.

It does get worse.. most days I wake up at 4:30am to pee. This morning I couldn't go back to sleep. Other than that, I'm feeling great! I played cards til Midnight on Saturday and drank my water like a trooper while everyone else had their beverages of choice. :)

We have the big ultrasound on Thursday to determine the sex! Yay!

Angela that is so exciting, I can't wait to hear what you are having.

Wow Christine, you last day of work is Wednesday, that is exciting. I have the countdown on till my last day and I have a lot longer than you and I am already excited :)

I am doing well, just the usual hard time sleeping sometimes and pains in my left leg and butt and hip when I walk to much, but in general I am pretty great.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
