I guess with the 30+ inches of snow we got here last week it was a good thing I didn't have to try to rush to the hospital : ) So I am just sitting at home, on leave from work already and waiting. I scheduled a C for a week after my due date just in case. So, if Shayne decides not to arrive on his own, then he will be welcomed into the world via C on 2/22. Good news is I am almost finished the nursery with all the time on my hands. Hope everyone else is doing well. I'll be sure to check in.
Congrats Margie, that's so exciting! Are you going to post some pics of your nursery?? I know we'd all LOVE to see them =)

Hi ladies!!! first of all CONGRATS to all of you!!!! :)

so I went to the doc for a pre preg exam and she gave me a bunch of prenatal vitamin samples...i've heard horror stories about them, and from searching on here, it's mostly true. doc wants me to start taking them now even though we're not trying till after the wedding in sept, but i know of so many people that start them after they find out theyre pregnant and with all the side effects i just don't know? what do you think?? which one's are easiest on your tummy? thanks!

I have just a few paranoid questions - like, shouldn't I be feeling/responding in some way by now? All I have are thse kind of weird cramps (which worry me!) occasionally, but no nausea or sickness or bloating or anythign! Do any of you remember what it was like your first few weeks??

don't worry about it!!! I didn't really feel any different until about 4-5 months. had no sickness no cravings..nothing. every women responds to pregnancy different. you just might be the lucky one. also some women get sick later on down the line...so don't rush it.

What horror stories have you heard about Prenatals? I never had any problems with them. I hope you don't either. I started taking them two months before I got pregnant but they say you should start three months so that you have the build of of folic acid etc in your body when you get pregnant.

I think those are normal side effects of pregnancy... I've taken prenatal pills for almost two years now I'm not planing but my Doc told me to take them because there the best womens daily vitamins out there and I'll be ready if I change my mind or if something happens haha

But they have never made me feel icky just have the extras you need

Same thing with me, I took prenatals for 2 years before I got pregnant and I never had any side effects. Fish oil pills, however, made me feel completely sick to my stomach. i would take those right before I fell asleep so I wouldn't feel like throwing up as much.

Margie- get that baby out already!!

I LOVED my prenatals! They made me feel really good, and probably because I was then getting all the vitamins and things that I needed.

I used Walmart's Nature Source (or something like that) brand. LOVE THEM!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
