Las Caletas Hotels for Guests

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I have loved reading all your comments. I have not confirmed it yet, but I think I might get married at Las Caletas in October of 2007. I have a huge family and a big guest list. I am looking for nice hotels in Nuevo Vallarta for my friends that might have some big villas that my family can stay in nearby. I am leaning toward them staying in Nuevo Vallarta because of the beach and they will probably not go out on the town much, but can easily be persuaded. Any ideas? I am also leaning away from all-inclusive hotels due to price.

I never stay in Nuevo Vallarta, but I know a few people who have stayed at the Riu Jalisco and loved it, but that is all-inclusive. You may be surprised to find that all-inclusives are not much more per night than hotels that offer only the European plan in that area, so check around.

Sorry, I'm not too experienced with that part of Vallarta but surely soomeone on this forum can give you better information.

I'm also getting married this year at Las Caletas so let me know if I can help with anything.

I haven't researched villas at all, but I do have this website that I came across for a couple that stayed in Villas - here it is - Monika and Eric: Accommodations in Puerto Vallarta

Tammy, the host of this site, is a great TA that specializes in DWs and honeymoons. She might be booked for 2007 but perhaps can refer you to someone else.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
