leslie, this is my suggestion: do the stamps for everybody but his family. just put a regular old stamp on theirs. no harm, no foul.

I think it's a stamp and it would be really cute. I mean, if people are going to be offended at a cute stamp, then you can't raelly worry about them.

I come from a super conservative family and I know my grandmother would freak out if that was the picture on the stamp. We threw a shower for my SIL and put her head on a hula girl's body for the invitation and she was really bothered by it. Also, a lot of my family doesn't drink, so that's an issue too. I know that probably seems weird to a lot of people.

I guess what I'm saying is don't just brush their feelings off as backwards thinking. My parents struggle with this a lot...they haven't changed, the world around them has. I like Maura's suggestion about sending regular stamps to them and the really cute ones to everyone else. Why cause waves if you don't have to?

I think it's really cute! And it's a stamp--by the time it is reduced in size to fit on the envelope, they are going to have to break out the magnifying glass to actually see the bottle!

That's what I was thinking too! No one is really going to notice the details of the stamp because it will all be reduced. I think they are cute and I'm going for it!!

Maybe they only wore shirts to hide their big butts- at least that's what I do. Well not quite- but I probably should wear some type of moo-moo over it.

I think those statues are cute. I want one. sad.gif I don't think it's offensive in the least and if they are offended, hopefully they will just stay home. You don't want those people on the trip getting offended everytime you throw back a tequila shot.

We were wearing shirts and not drinking when they took the picture of us to make the statue. I think it would be cute and a fun way to add our personal touch to the invites. What do you all think? Is it offensive?
