October 08 Brides - What's Left to Do

I spent forever working on my wedding bubbles, printing out quotes and tying to them to the bubbles. Then I packed them away very neatly so they would be ready for the big day. Well......I came from work last night and what do I see? My dog had a hay day with the bubbles He ate half of them. There were big piles of wet bubble stuff all over the carpet, the quotes and ribbons were wripped to shreds. Little shit head. Now I have to do them all over.

TRISH - these are wonderful - you did an awesome job! Do you mind if I borrow it for mine??

Stacey - you handled the dog thing wonderfully - I would still be sitting there crying! crybaby2.gif

Yari - I had a dream about you last night! OMG BDW is in my dreams! You were still getting married at LC except you were marrying Nick Lachey (Jessica Simpsons Ex)...in my dream I was like OMG - did I miss something? Yari is hanging with the hollywood crowd! I couldn't wait to get on BDW to tell the girls you were marrying Nick - it was hillarious!! I woke up and was like wtf.gif - too funny!

That is terrible. Hopefully he does not get sick from eating all the bubbles.

Today I am going to try and pick up a little makeup that I need during lunch. I had a rough week at work that I just really want to go home and vegitate.

Oh, I did get my approval picts from Angels which I will try to post later!

Anyone doing a long veil? If I do a veil, it will be long, but I can not decide either way yet.
Long veils are so pretty!

Wow, you leave in 18 days, how exciting.

I bought my wedding jewelry today. I love it, its a little more bling than I had in mind but my dress is so plain that it works. I'll post pics in a little bit.

I'm down to days too!

I still have make up to buy as well. I have tried so many different brands and I cannot find anything that I love. My skin is so oil that everything just slicks right off. I want to try to get something that is not too heavy but has good coverage and will stay on my face. Anybody have any suggestions or used anything good for oily skin?

Brooke..I love MAC makeup...HOWEVER!!!

I went there over the summer for a trial make up run...and the girl put SO MUCH on my face (this is after she told me i had beautiful skin and didn't need much) that I thought I would crack if I smiled. I am looking into going to Nordstroms and trying Bobbi Brown and Trish Mcvoy (sp?) a little more expensive but ya know...ya only get married once!

I need to purchase jewerly this weekend. where did everyone go??

My to do for this weekend:

Iron on names

Print brochures and put them together (i have to glue b/c my printer won't line up correctly!)

finish menu and seating cards

set up make up trial

print out hair ideas for hair trial on tuesday

*I had a dream that Victoria secret was doing a bunch of hair and makeup trials (at once) for a bunch of girls and YARI you wre there and we were talking about how close it is...LOL...you were in everyone's dreams!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
