I feel so bad for her having to just go down and not even know. At least we do know. They now say it should be open by the 13th so I have my fingers crossed for you. Look at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun, just in case! haha
I think it looks nice. I'm trying to stay positive and I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time no matter what. I just can't wait to go!!!

We were offered Dreams Cancun too, but didn't want to stay right in Cancun. I think the Paradisus and Silversands are about 20 miles south. I think, I could be totally wrong!!

It has been so stressful. I can't wait to get to any resort and have a very strong drink!!!!

Brooke, wow I couldn't even imagine going through all of that. You are handling it so well!!

I am doing okay. When I get nervous I vomit. Last year when we got engaged we were also buying a house, I would vomit daily. Yuck!! Oh well. Nothing I can do.

Oh my goodness less than 24 hours until I am a legal wife.

Yari - Congrats on getting legally wed today. We went yesterday to get the marriage license and that's when it started to set in for me. I can't believe it's so close.

Brooke - Try not to stress about the resort. I know that's easier said than done. In the end, it won't matter which resort you go to because it will be special regardless. You'll have each other and your closest family and friends there with you. We put so much time into the details and although they do make it nice, at the end of the day, that's not what people (you guys and your guests) will remember. It'll be the people, the emotions, the laughter, the memories with everyone. I try to remind myself of that when I'm stressing over some small detail that no one will probably even notice if I forget or screw up on.

I can't believe our time is here. I have my bachelorette party this weekend. My MOH is flying in so I can't wait to pick her up tonite at the airport. We don't see each other that often, but when we do, it's always so much fun. I'm taking today off to workout, get my practice spray tan, go to the jewelers to pick up rings, try to find a place that engraves watches, and clean up the house.

I also have the much dreaded music to do. I got a new computer so I need to install Itunes again. I haven't done it cuz it really is a pain. Which playlists are you guys using?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
