Your so funny! I thought I was almost done, but the closer we get the more I remember I need to do.

I got Fi gift this week. Bought another swimsuit, picked up the official marriage license from the court house, put all the welcome bags together, picked up everyone travel docs. It seems endless. I can't wait to be there on the beach with a drink in my hand!

Well FI is at his Bach party and I have been running around getting last minute travel stuff like q-tips. This morning my roomba ate my veil. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t29791

I did handle it ok, nothing bridezilla-ish like throw the thing across the room but was tempted. Also, got my bridal cut and color today. We leave in a week from Monday but time is flying. The closer it gets, there is more I find I have to do.

Girls it is getting close!

I had a major event I was in charge of at work last night, so now that it's over I am full speed ahead.

Today I got some sunscreen for the OOT bags and I had my 2nd fitting. It was supposed to be my final, but apparently I lost weight. LOL, I have no idea how.

There is still lots to do, but I am lazy and just want to sit on the couch. I did get the big suitcase out and is now in my bedroom, with a few articles of clothing. Ugh, so much to do.

Good for you Yari. I was told by my seamstress not to loose any more weight. I have been trying to hold steady but that is hard too.

I leave in a week from today. I did get alot done this weekend but I feel like there is more going onto the list then coming off. I am dealing with the veil situation today. Fingers crossed.

Hi Girls,

Glad I'm not the only one who feels time is flying by. This weekend, I (FI helped on some things) picked up my dress from getting altered, made size tags for the flip flops, made the seating cards for reception, ordered picture frames to put on tables to show table number, ordered FI and Dad's white shirts, ordered gift for MOH and wrote sand ceremony vows. I think that was it - felt like all I did was wedding stuff.

Things I can do now are to put music on IPOD of key songs, print and assemble OOT welcome brochure, create table number inserts for frames.

Things I am waiting for: pickup rings, legal ceremony at home (marriage license, etc), get spray tan, hair color, hair cut, pedicure before leaving, mail dad shirt & shoes.

Next weekend is my bachelorette party so I won't be doing much wedding stuff. Then, only 2 weekends before we leave.

We leave a week from today too!

I told my FI about your roomba and his mouth just dropped. I hope your veil is fixable!

Last night we both worked on our ceremony music. It is now done and burnt to a disc. We need to finish up the reception music next.

I just printed out labels for the OOT bags.

I need to make a final task list...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
